An information and enrolment session will be held on Thursday 2 February 2023, 10:30am - 12pm at the College. This course is an introduction to Individual Support, with a pathway to the qualification CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability). This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Units covered include: • CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services • CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people • CHCLEG001 Work legally and ethically • HLTINF006 Apply basic principles and practices of infection prevention and control • CHCAGE011 Provide support to people living with dementia • CHCDIS012 Support community participation and inclusion

This course is an introduction to Business, with a pathway to the Certificate III in Business Administration or Medical Administration. Units covered in the course reflect the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance. Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team. Two day course 8 & 9 Mar 9am - 3pm About this course: This short accredited course aims to demonstrate and develop skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. Both units apply to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. The Statement of Attainment in Provide First Aid and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is essential to work in a wide range of industries including nursing, aged care, building and construction and agriculture. Equip yourself with life-saving skills to take immediate action in an emergency and apply first aid to casualties as well as perform CPR.
