Dr. William T. Loging Launches Bioinformatics and Computational
Biology in Drug Discovery and Development
With Signing and Discussion held on Wednesday, June 1st at The New York Academy of Sciences On Wednesday, June 1st , from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, The New York Academy of Sciences (7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, 40th Floor) will host a book signing and discussion with Dr. William T. Loging. Dr. Loging will be discussing his new book Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in Drug Discovery and Development (published by Cambridge University Press, $74.99) alongside contributor Dr. Eric Schadt, and guest Dr. Richie Etwaru. Loging has spent the past 20 years focused on generating
treatments for human disease. Bridging both clinical genomics and pharmaceutical sciences, he has been globally recognized for his work with Maraviroc (Selzentry™) for use in HIV. The results of his past contribution to the approval of Empagliflozin (Jardiance™) were listed within the drug insert. He has published in several leading scientific journals on utilization of novel informatics approaches to Drug Discovery and his 2014 TEDx talk on Cancer Genomics was highly acclaimed.
