School Production – Hamlet

Edition 48, 3 May 2019

From the Acting Headmaster School Production – Hamlet

Senior School House Multi-Sport Competition

Our School production of Hamlet will open next Thursday 9 May and will continue until Saturday 11 May. It is still not too late to get tickets at www.trybooking.com/BBWEP. I am very grateful to our Head of Drama, Mr Andrew Stocker, together with a very eager team of our students, and students from Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College, who have been working tirelessly to put this play together. Further details can be found in a flyer attached to this Bulletin.

Thank you to our School Historian and Archivist, Dr David Bird, who delivered a very informative and well researched talk on the history of the Camberwell Grammar School Cadet Unit to the Annual General Meeting of the 39th Australian Infantry Battalion Association at Malvern on 28 April 2019. The Unit and the Association have developed a relationship since 2017 chiefly owing to the distinguished service of Old Boy Alan Moore, who left the School in 1930.

Senior School House Multi-Sport Competition After very close competition, it was my pleasure at yesterday’s Assembly to present the Captain of Schofield, Divjot Walia, with the House trophy. Congratulations to the following Houses: Basketball
