CGS Cafeteria Dear Parents, Thank you for volunteering to help at the Camberwell Grammar School Cafeteria in 2020. A special welcome to our new volunteers and welcome back to those of you who have volunteered before. This year the catering company Chartwells, lead by David, will be running the Cafeteria. Your hours of duty are 10am-1.00pm Please sign up for shifts using the volunteer sign up link: https://volunteersignup.org/KLKPQ If you are available to fill in on short notice, please let me know. The Cafeteria roster is advertised in the Weekly Bulletin and you will also receive a text the week before to remind you of your upcoming duty. To ensure the smooth running of the cafeteria roster it is important that you organise a replacement if you are unable to attend on your scheduled day. The easiest way to do this is to email or text others on the same day of the week as you and to arrange a swap. Please let me know of any changes made. If you are unable to do find a swap, please notify me (Allison) ASAP. If you have an issue on the day please notify the cafeteria directly. The cafeteria contact number is 9835 1724. A day’s notice is preferred. On the day of your cafeteria shift, you may park on school grounds. The closest parking available is via Gate 5, Mont Albert Rd (next to Belmont Park). Follow the driveway down and around the back near the cafeteria/tennis courts. When you attend cafeteria duty please wear comfortable clothing and covered non slip flat shoes, please tie long hair back. Please keep jewellery to a minimum. The cafeteria will supply aprons for your shift. The following information is for all new volunteers or any of you who have missed completing a working with children’s check or the food and safety course. Can you please follow the links and complete both of these requirements. A working with children check needs to be completed by all adults involved with the school. As we are volunteers this is a free check. If you do not have a Working with Children Card, you can enrol online via the website www.online.justice.vic.gov.au . Please fill in an application form print and take to your nearest post office for processing. Two passport-sized photos are required. When you have received the Working with Children Card could you please take it to the Development Office, they will take a photocopy of your card and file this copy.
