A Victorian Englishman, Phileas Fogg, makes a bet that with the new steamships and railways he can circumnavigate the globe in eighty days. Accompanied by his newly acquired French valet, Monsieur Passepartout, he sets out across the globe passing through exotic locations such as Egypt, India, Hong Kong, and America’s Wild West on a succession of locomotives, boats, elephants, and hot air balloons.

In pursuit is Detective Fix of Scotland Yard, who believes Fogg to be responsible for a brazen bank robbery back in London.

Can Fogg and Passepartout make it before Fix can catch up with them?
