DEEDS app - Information for Parents

DEEDS - Our New School Communication App Camberwell Grammar School will be replacing the existing School Portal with DEEDS from Monday 11 May 2020. DEEDS is a Portal and Learning Management System* solution that will enable CGS to centralise communication to one channel. DEEDS will provide our community with information about the curriculum, co-curricular programs and services the school provides.

DEEDS is accessible from a website and is also supported by an App that is accessible from the Apple and Google Play stores.

Search for ‘Camberwell Grammar School’ in these stores to locate and download the App.

* Please note: The Learning Management System features of DEEDS will include access to Grades and Feedback on Assessment tasks, and to Course and Unit Pages providing access to resources shared to students. These features of DEEDS will be accessible to parents in 2021. During the course of 2020, these features can be sourced from Schoology. Schoology will be accessible from a tile on the Parent Dashboard. See image below displaying the tiles feature.

Clicking on the Parent Services tile will take you to this page in DEEDS. Note that some tiles are still under construction.

DEEDS App​ ​- information for parents DEEDS will be supported with an App that you will be able to access from the App stores on your phone or tablet device. The DEEDS App will allow for easy access to information housed within the site.

Once you download and open the app, you will be able to receive important updates from DEEDS.

We hope you find DEEDS, both the main site and the App, a useful means of accessing information from Camberwell Grammar School. Please note, buttons on the App and the means of accessing information may change over time as we introduce new features. We will inform you when any changes to the App interface are being applied.

Currently, when accessing pages within the main DEEDS site from the App, you will encounter a CGS sign-in page. You only need to sign in again once when using the App. If you move to other DEEDS pages after signing in you won’t be prompted again. We are working with our provider to alleviate the need for an additional sign in once you have entered the App.
