Teamwork

Assuming you have already watched various Studio Ghibli films, there are multiple moments wherein the characters expressed teamwork. But first of all, let us define what exactly teamwork means. Teamwork is basically when many people work together. It is a collaborative effort to achieve a common goal. We can observe it in Howl' s Moving Castle when Turniphead helped Sophie reach the castle. Or in Spirited Away, when the Sooth Sprites work together to move the coals into the furnace.

In school, I always apply teamwork whenever we have group projects. Every member has specific responsibilities to fill in, and I always see that I fulfill mine. Even just through suggesting ideas or communicating with the other members, teamwork occurs. In certain tasks, I sometimes get to be the leader. Though in most cases, I' m often assigned to answer and write on the papers and documents. Speaking is sadly not my strength, so I rarely get to be the reporter or presenter of the group. In these experiences mentioned, I was able to perform teamwork.

When achieved in the workplace, teamwork makes things faster, more creative, and efficient. Take Studio Ghibli as an example again, behind the screens of these amazing films that we watch are groups of creative people.

There are the Production management department, Development department, Pre-production department, Production department, Post-production Department, and Distribution department. Under them are directors, background and character designers, concept artists, producers, sound engineers, marketing executives, and many more! Together, the teamwork of these people makes what seems impossible, possible.
