This magazine is to be used as a guide for businesses looking to make COVID-19 mitigation repairs with CARES Act funds ROUND TWO. Inside you will find Callaway County businesses and the services and products they offer in helping you make the necessary mitigation repairs for your business to be safely open to the public by utilizing measures to protect their safety.

ABOUT CARES ACT FUNDS & ROUND TWO
Callaway County began its CARES Act Mitigation Grant Funds application process on July 1, 2020. During this funding (Round 2), businesses may apply for funding to assist with COVID-19 related issues within their business to assist in making necessary improvements to protect their staff and customers. Areas of improvement must be in areas that are heavily populated by the public. Funding requests for improvements will be paid at 80% of the approved expense through the CARES Act Funds and businesses will be required to pay the remaining 20% (if the business is located in Callaway County. Should the business be located outside of Callaway County, improvements are 70%/30%). Any business in Callaway County that want to apply should obtain bids for the proposed improvements and submit application and spreadsheet. Applications should be submitted in early December. ABOUT CARES ACT FUNDS & ROUND TWO CONT.
Once the application is approved by the CARES Act Committee, the business can proceed with the improvements. Upon completion of the projects, invoices for reimbursement should be submitted to the Callaway County Commissioners.
