The smart tool for EU proposal drafters and grant writers CallforEurope is a consultancy that provides for professional information and assistance on European Policies, Programmes and Public Calls. Our mission is to support transparent knowledge and easy access to all of the opportunities offered by EU Programmes. We think that giving fresh information on such themes is a valid lever for boosting European Union integration.

European Police Authorities, other relevant practitioners and (social) media organisations are provided with better, modern and validated tools and training materials to tackle those activities related to disinformation and fake news that are considered as crime or could lead to a crime and that are supported by advanced digital technologies; European common approaches are made available to policy-makers and security practitioners for analysing risks/threats, and identifying and deploying relevant security measures related to disinformation and fake news, which take into account legal and ethical rules of operation, cost-benefit considerations, as well as fundamental rights such as privacy and protection of personal data; Improved understanding of the cultural and societal aspects of disinformation and fake news, as well as on the key challenges related to combating it; Strengthened key personnel's knowledge regarding disinformation campaigns; Enhanced perception of security thanks to an increased awareness of the citizens about the value of verified and trustworthy data sources and their content, obtained through education and training materials on trustable sources of information.
Eligible Activities
This topic asks for an interdisciplinary approach based both on societal capabilities to withstand such a threat (e.g., education on trustable sources of information, research on the impact of uncertainties caused by disinformation on public crisis management and society overall) and on technological means of fighting against it. Regarding the latter, for a more effective early detection of criminal activities, Police Authorities and (social) media organisations need tools and (forensic) capabilities that, e.g., enable the assessment of the origin, veracity and trustworthiness of digital content by identifying altered or fake generated information.

Robust research methodologies, improved intelligence picture and understanding of mechanisms behind organised crime activities related to trafficking of cultural goods both offline and online, modus operandi, possible nexus with terrorist financing; Enhanced ability of security practitioners to identify organised crime networks involved in trafficking in cultural goods and to detect their illicit business models, including financial aspects and money laundering activities in this sector; Enhanced ability of security practitioners to detect and prevent the emergence of organised crime networks involved in trafficking in cultural goods, and to respond to the threat of existing organisations; Improved and validated tools, skills and training materials (including the lawful courtproof collection of crime evidence) for European Police Authorities, Border Guards and Customs Authorities to tackle criminal activities related to trafficking of cultural goods;Improved cooperation between European Police Authorities, Border Guards and Customs Authorities, as well as with specialised researchers and international actors, in tackling this form of crime; Improved databases on stolen/trafficked cultural goods; Improved evidence-based policy-making against trafficking in cultural goods
Eligible Activities
The proposals in this topic should shed a light on these issues through robust research methodologies that prioritise new data collection and analysis, and applications towards the development of evidence-based policy. Proposals should support the gathering of intelligence and the development of tools that Police Authorities and other relevant practitioners need to fight this crime and to collect actionable (cross-border) evidence acceptable in court, with the ultimate goal of disrupting the illicit trade and of mitigating its harmful effects in Europe and beyond.

Health policymakers use context specific knowledge and evidence to develop inclusive, effective and affordable interventions ensuring patient safety; Health care professionals know how to prevent, identify, evaluate and address risks for patient safety, and use harmonised or standardised patient-centred procedures and practice guidelines for improving patient safety developed in partnership with empowered patients; Health care providers integrate harmonised and standardised practices with personalised treatment schemes; Health care providers use quality assured processes to bridge inter-sectorial gaps in the clinical pathways of patients to improve patient safety; An increased number of health care professionals and patients/citizens adhere to recommendations for improved patient safety.
Eligible Activities
Fill knowledge and practice gaps in quality of care and patient safety, including through harmonisation and standardisation of health care delivery, optimizing inter-sectoral clinical pathways and decision-making processes and tools across regions and countries. Development and piloting of harmonised evidence-based interventions in a uniform and structured way in health care institutions of different EU regions and countries. This should be addressed in case studies at hospital, primary and outpatient care levels, and it should also take into consideration the diverse health care landscape across European Union and Associated Countries. Research on translation of international standards and clinical guidelines into national practice for improved quality of care and patient safety. Provide context-specific evidence on facilitators and barriers for transferring identified good practices across regions and countries.

The development of data-driven, interactive policy and visualisation tools (i.e. through creation of digital twins/virtual models) bringing novel insights on populations, systems and services as a whole, to help policymakers make data-driven decisions. Objective
The objective of this topic is to engage companies to embrace a more holistic approach in order to better take into account the risks associated to high energy intensity in the supply chain (e.g. exposure to energy prices, image, litigation, etc.), and to make it more sustainable and resilient.This paradigm shift can further unlock the market potential for sustainable solutions while enabling to benchmark the entire lifecycle impacts (e.g. water consumption, CO2 emissions, soil impacts, etc.) of industrial and service processes.In this regard, large companies can play a crucial role to support SMEs, which operate in their supply chain, to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.
Eligible Activities
Proposals are expected to develop, test and validate innovative business models and approaches fostering collaboration among companies within one or several specific value chains in the industry and service sectors. Proposals should clearly describe these models and approaches, their relevance and added value for the targeted value chains. Business cases should be produced based on the real interaction and experiences gained among the relevant actors during the timeframe of the project. A detailed exploitation strategy should be provided in order to effectively roll out the project results to the relevant value chains across the EU.

In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must: be legal entities (public or private bodies); be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.: - EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)); - non-EU countries: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE Programme

Objective
Launched in 2011, the BUILD UP Skills initiative is supporting the upskilling of building professionals across Europe, to deliver building renovations offering high-energy performance as well as new Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings. This topic aims to facilitate the rebooting of the National Qualification Platforms, Status Quo Analyses and National Roadmaps developed under the first phase of BUILD UP Skills (2011-2012, ‘Pillar I’), to ensure alignment with the EU 2030 energy targets. The first objective is to support the revitalisation of the National Platforms created in the first phase of the BUILD UP Skills initiative (2011-2012), gathering all key national stakeholders. Since the first platforms were established ten years ago, projects should aiming at expanding their scope by involving new stakeholders. As a second objective, the rebooted National Platforms should update the Status Quo Analyses and National Roadmaps to reflect the new realities of the building sector. This should be done by addressing the necessary skills development activities related to e.g. digital technologies, smart buildings including e-mobility, resource efficiency, circularity, integration of renewable energy technologies, heating and cooling, industrialised deep renovation, Life Cycle Carbon Assessments, etc., while taking into account the wider EU recovery context.
Eligible Activities
Proposals submitted under this topic should be supportive of the work done within the European Construction Blueprint, which focuses on vocational education and training primarily for ’blue-collar’ professionals (targeting a level up to 5 in the European Qualification Framework). The focus of this topic is on all relevant skills needed to enable the Clean Energy Transition, in particular the EU Renovation Wave, the mainstreaming of NZEBs, and the inclusion of resource efficiency considerations.

Objective
Selected projects will contribute to the following objectives: - strengthening the transnational circulation and diversity of European literary works in particular by encouraging translations from lesser used languages into English, German, French, Spanish (Castilian) and Italian - reaching new audiences for European literary works in the EU and beyond - strengthening the competitiveness of the book sector by encouraging cooperation within the book value chain.
Eligible Activities
Eligible original works to be translated Works in paper or digital formats (e-books and audio-books). Works of fiction, irrespective of their literary genre or format, such as novel, short story, theatre and radio play, poetry, comic book and youth literature. Non-fiction works are not eligible. Non-fiction works include autobiographies, biographies, or essays without fictional elements; tourist guides; works in the field of humanities and social sciences (such as history, philosophy, economy, etc.) and works related to other sciences (such as physics, mathematics, etc.). Works must already be published. Works must be written by authors who are nationals of, residents in, or recognised as part of the literary heritage of an eligible country. Works must not be already translated into the target language, unless a new translation corresponds to a clearly assessed need. The budget of the call is to be distributed as follows (see Section 10 Form of grant, funding rate and maximum grant amount): - 30% for small-scale projects (up to EUR 100 000); - 40% for medium-scale projects (up to EUR 200 000); - 30% for large-scale projects (up to EUR 300 000).

Objective
To provide recruitment assistance through the EURES advisers and other staff of the EEA employment services to jobseekers and employers. To provide guidance and information, to potential mobile jobseekers and their employers. To improve the visibility and awareness of EURES in the EEA countries and to advertise the information and services provided, in line with the EURES communications strategy. To monitor placement outcomes and customer satisfaction. To contribute to the pool of job vacancies and CVs in the EURES portal, in cooperation with the NCO. To cooperate with other EURES countries in joint projects such as recruitment events.

SWITCH to Green and of the Commission’s contribueu/ tion to the achievement of the SDG12 on Responsible Consumption and Production in Asia. UIA is Europe’s Innovation Laboratory for cities. Starting in 2015, it has launched five calls linked to Europe’s urban policy priorities. Successful applicants are awarded up to € 5 million to implement their proposals.
