The smart tool for EU proposal drafters and grant writers CallforEurope is a consultancy that provides for professional information and assistance on European Policies, Programmes and Public Calls. Our mission is to support transparent knowledge and easy access to all of the opportunities offered by EU Programmes. We think that giving fresh information on such themes is a valid lever for boosting European Union integration.
Our support is intended to: • offer technical information on how to access to and manage EU grants and projects; • make people find new transnational partnerships throughout Europe; • stimulate public debate on how to access to EU funds. Our ambition is to serve as a technical resource center. We want to serve primarily those that usually work on writing applications and
managing projects through European funding. Call them “Euro-drafters” or “Euro-experts”: in any case, their activity demands high specialization and a constant updating on European policies, programs and public calls. Our service is intended for them but also for any private, public and not-for-profit organization interested to European programmes and funds.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONSULTATION ON SINGLE SYNOPSES
Programme
Public programmes that fund the specific call for proposals, according to specific policy objectives, and accompanied by specific working plans, financial regulations, etc.
Administration
Administrations, Institutions and/or Agencies, committed to the implementation of the programmes and funding of coherent initiatives and projects according to the single ongoing call for projects.
Objective
Public calls for projects generally include the general and specific objectives to be achieved by the funded initiatives. Objectives are coherent with the general ones defined by the funding programmes.
Eligible Activities
Projects are expected to be implemented through types of activities identified as eligible to public funding. In many cases, calls also list activitities and connected costs not eligible to public funding from a specific European programme.
Eligible Applicants
Entities eligible to apply for funding can be physical or legal persons. Legal persons can include public and/or private entities. In many cases, calls require applicants to form partnerships or legal consortia, with specific conditions for lead applicans, applicants and associate entities.

Objective
RIMA is a 4-year project aiming to establish a network of 13 Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) on robotics sharing best practices and providing services to facilitate uptake of I&M technologies. Its challenge is to reinforce this connection and to provide education and training on robotics I&M and to connect the value chain - research, technology companies, service providers, end users and investors - for accelerating economic growth in the field: - building upon the network pioneered by SPRINT Robotics extending it to all relevant sectors across the value chain; - encompassing network: - leading research organizations supporting one DIH per region aligned with regional policies and industry sectors, - sectoral associations that will make a bridge with end users and industries; - offering the key services to achieve acceleration including support to testing and technology transfer, coaching and training on robotics for I&M, identification of tracks to optimize processes and communication; - advising on funding opportunities relying on the S3 Thematic Platform on robotics for I&M federating the common ambition of EU-13 regions; - ensuring network sustainability by adopting the SPRINT business model.
Eligible Activities
Successful candidates will receive equity-free funding to conduct their experiments. In addition, they will get access to acceleration services e.g. training, business mentoring and technical support from RIMA network. Types of eligible activities: developing, testing and validating the technical and economic viability of a robotic system prototype demonstrated in an operational environment.

Start-ups, SMEs, companies or research institutes/organizations, with legal entity established, that own and operate an IoT platform/solution. Explore new ideas, new collaborations as well as new user approaches for ICT-based solutions for older adults. Propose proofs of concept for further development of innovative ICT solutions. Rapidly evaluate the business potential of available/new AAL products and Servicess.
Eligible Activities
Proposals should reach out to new stakeholders for inclusion in (future) development of AAL solutions, build strong collaborations with end-user organisations and other stakeholders and support community building with new customers. They can result in well-substantiated ideas or proposals for AAL solutions to be submitted in a later AAL call (or elsewhere).

Reinforcing the capacity of NGOs acting at Member States’ level to mobilise and strengthen civil society participation and contribution to the implementation of the European Green Deal. Sub-objectives of the eligible actions will be: (1) Increasing climate ambition; (2) Clean, affordable and secure energy; (3) Industry for a clean and circular economy; (4) Energy and resource efficient buildings; (5) Sustainable and smart mobility; (6) Farm to fork; (7) Biodiversity and ecosystems; (8) Zero-pollution, toxic-free environments; (9) Sustainable finance.
Eligible Activities
Activities that are typical of non-governmental organisations, whether operational or advocacy-related, and that contribute to strengthening the knowledge and empowering civil society for an inclusive implementation of the European Green Deal at national and/ or sub-national level. Typically, this may include information campaigns, participation in public consultations; cooperation and coalition building with other organisations; elaboration of position papers, conferences, seminars; training activities; awareness raising and dissemination actions; actions aiming at the creation and improvement of networks, exchanges of good practices; studies, analyses, mapping activities, concrete implementation actions, volunteers mobilisation and support, etc.

Non-profit making non-governmental organisations primarily active in the areas of environment and/or climate action and established in an EU member state, legally registered in the EU prior to 01 January 2018. Furthermore, depending on the size of the population of the country where it is established, the applicant must demonstrate its ability to operate at national level and/or at least at regional level.

To give the opportunity to form synergies, accelerate product orient projects and offer guidance towards successful commercialisation by Cross-Domain Technology Transfer Experiments (CTTE) funding instrument, focusing on one of the four defined verticals (Digitized Transport, Digitized Agriculture, Digitized Environment and Digitized Anything).
Eligible Activities
One partner (industrial or academic) from one eligible country transfers a particular novel hardware or software technology in the domain of Customized Low-Energy Computing (CLEC) for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to a receiving industry partner (SME or Slightly Bigger Company) from a different eligible country. One industrial productization partner extends the value chain. The transfer may include exclusive or non-exclusive licensing, training, services, documentation, etc., as necessary. The product or solution has to deal with one of the competence fields from one of the four SMART4ALL verticals.

● Universities and other Academic Institutions. ● SME and Slightly Bigger Companies, as defined in the EU recommendation 2003/361. Slightly Bigger Companies are defined respectively as organisations with a staff headcount below 500 employees and a turnover below EUR 100M. ● System Integrators and/or Technology Providers, i.e. any type of organisation specialised in technology transfer or system integration, serving the needs of end-users, provided they can be categorised in one of the two previous types of beneficiaries.

To award two innovative projects at the nexus of science, technology and the arts that have what it takes to make a significant impact on economic and social innovation
Eligible Activities
Groundbreaking collaborations and projects driven by both technology and the arts. Purely artistic or technologically driven projects are not the focus of this competition. All forms of artistic works and practices with a strong link to innovation in technology, business and/or society; furthermore, STARTS is not restricted to a particular genre such as media art and digital art. All types of technological and scientific research and development that has been inspired by art or involves artists as catalysts of novel thinking. The jury is looking forward to receiving submissions from a broad variety of fields and disciplines. Among others, projects from the areas of new media applications, human computer interaction, machine learning, biotechnology, art & science, green technologies, material research, smart cities and citizen empowerment, robotics, quantum technology and many more are very welcome to apply.

Awarding with a first or second prize of €75 000 and €30 000 respectively, and an Audience Choice Award of €10 000. In 2021, the Special Category prizes will go to projects focusing on sustainable living. Two projects will be selected to attend INSEAD’s Social Entrepreneurship programme in Fontainebleau, France.
Eligible Activities
The finalists participate in a tailor-made training programme (Mentoring Bootcamp, e-training on pitching, one-to-one coaching sessions, Rehearsal Bootcamp) to provide them with the necessary guidance to finalise their proposals and prepare them for the Final Event where all the finalists have to present and defend their project to a jury of social innovation specialists. In 2021, the Final Event will be held on 7 October in Lisbon, Portugal. Finalists from all SIT editions become members of the SIT Alumni Network. As members, they benefit from numerous training opportunities such as (i) the Scaling Executive Programme, a full-time executive training course focused on scaling, pitching and engagement with investors, (ii) SITolarships, an innovation grants programme, and (iii) conferences around Europe to network with investors, venture philanthropists and foundations who can help their project to scale.

To promote and protect a single, open, free and secure cyberspace which fully reflects and respects the core EU values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law. Specific Objectives:1) Increased consensus in partner countries for open, free, and secure cyberspace, through the promotion of existing international law, norms of state behaviour and confidence building measures in cyber space and increase cyber resilience; 2) Greater convergence between partner countries and regional organisations standards, policies and best practices and those of the EU ; 3) Raised awareness of the EU’s contribution to global cyber stability and resilience in partner countries and regional and international organisations.
Eligible Activities
actions concerned only or mainly with individual sponsorships for participation in workshops, seminars, conferences and congresses; actions concerned only or mainly with individual scholarships for studies or training courses; construction or renovation of buildings or infrastructures.
Eligible Applicants
be a legal person and be non-profit-making and be a specific type of organisation such as: think tanks, non-governmental organisation, research institutes or other civil society organisations, EU specialised agencies and regional and international (intergovernmental) organisation as defined by Article 156 of the EU Financial Regulation, and be established in a Member State of the EU or in an eligible country as defined under the Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union’s instruments for external action (CIR) and Regulation (EU) No 234/2014 establishing a Partnership Instrument for cooperation with third countries 7,8 (section 2.1.4).
