Your Alumni Board of Directors has been actively recruiting new members and looks forward to engaging the California Western Community in the months ahead.

Already in 2022, the Alumni Board organized and sponsored our annual January MCLE Program, enabling anyone in the alumni community to secure those hard-to-get credits regarding Implicit Bias, Ethics, and Competence. The three-day program attracted 562 participants, which was one of our best attended MCLE series. Special thanks to Program presenters Dwayne Crenshaw ‘12, Andrew Servais ‘05, and Jim Eischen. We would also like to thank Anthony Parker ‘14 and Leslie Mackay ‘07 for their successful leadership of the event.

Looking ahead, Board members are busy planning and organizing the Seventh Annual Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony and our Life After Law School Series. The Board is also assisting with our Spring 2022 Commencement—our first in-person commencement in nearly three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park on Friday, April 29, 2022.
