We're excited to celebrate 70 fantastic years of Calgary's Orchestra with you this season! For seven decades the Calgary Philharmonic has been bringing people from many communities and all walks of life together through the power of music. Together, we've been moved to tears of both joy and sweet sorrow, shared reflections, made connections, and, most importantly, had a lot of fun.
This season, we embark on the next 70 years of the Calgary Phil with a stellar line-up of concerts led by an amazing roster of 29 conductors. As always, we're thrilled to welcome acclaimed stars from the world's leading stages, including incomparable pianist Lang Lang and acclaimed violinist Gil Shaham. Look out for another epic collaboration with our friends at the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the return of beloved favourites like Vivaldi's The Four Seasons and Handel's Messiah, which features the brilliant Calgary Philharmonic Chorus. We'll triumphantly close the season with Music Director Laureate Hans Graf conducting A Midsummer Night's Dream
The excitement extends beyond the Jack Singer Concert Hall as we take the Orchestra to more venues around Calgary than ever before. We'll have fun in the sun at Prince's Island with another free Phil in the Park, rave it up at the Big Four with SYNTHONY, laugh along to Kevin's adventures in Home Alone at WinSport, and celebrate Canadian music icon Steven Page at the Jubilee Auditorium. You won't want to miss either of our Baroque at Bella concerts at Mount Royal University's beautifully intimate concert hall. The Orchestra will return to the Bella for our annual Taylor Family concert with Alberta's own country star Tenille Townes — who will also perform with us at the Jack.
Of course, that's not all. As you'll see from the pages to follow, the 2025/2026 season is one for the ages, chock full of concerts you absolutely will not want to miss. Whether it's in the Jack Singer Concert Hall or other venues across the city, we can't wait to see you and share in the magic made by this wonderful Orchestra.

YOUR PHIL. YOUR MUSIC.
Thank you to our core funders
We acknowledge that we come together and create music on land known by the Blackfoot name Moh-kíns-tsis, which we also call Calgary. This land is on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Stoney Nakoda (Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations), and the Tsuut'ina First Nation, as well as the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. We honour this land and all those who share it in a spirit of peace, friendship, and respect.
Grab your blankets and picnic baskets as we once again welcome all of Calgary to join us at Prince's Island Park for a free community concert! Performing an eclectic mix of classical favourites, show tunes, and pops, the Orchestra and Resident Conductor Juliane Gallant provide the perfect soundtrack to a fun-filled afternoon in the beautiful heart of the city.
