As a learner who is affected by the new way of learning, I believe that it only takes time for us to get used to it. Quarter one of the game and both sides were starting out sloppy. Mistakes were made and plays were not executed properly. Even then, they were able to pick up their pace due to the help of both sides' key players, the Lakers managed to get the early lead. Miami tried their best to close the gap but despite their efforts, the first quarter ended in the Lakers' favor with a score of 28-20.

The second quarter is a different story. This time, the Lakers went out of the gates strong. They probably wanted to carry the 8 point lead and bridge a further gap between the said teams. As the Lakers were scoring continuously, the Lakers spent a decently long amount of time without being able to score. In the last seconds of the quarter, the Lakers had successfully built a huge gap between the two teams. It ended once again in the Lakers’ favor with the score of 64-36.

The last quarter came about. Miami went into the court with the intent of winning even if it looked impossible. They managed to cut the lead down to 21 mid-quarter but the Lakers didn’t let them have it. The gap was too huge and the Lakers just kept on expanding it, never letting the adversary catch up. In the last seconds of the last quarter, the Lakers were already celebrating and The third quarter started pretty chill Miami seemingly had given up. Philippines' Duterte threatens vaccine decliners with jail, animal drug MANILA, June 22 (Reuters) - Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, frustrated by the slow pace of COVID-19 vaccinations in his country, threatened people who refuse to get inoculated with jail or an injection of Ivermectin, an anti-parasite drug widely used to treat animals.

With over 1.3 million cases, the Philippines is fighting one of Asia's must stubborn COVID-19 epidemics.

CALL OUT CULTURE IN SOCIAL MEDIA: ARE WE GETTING TOO SENSITIVE? by Urielle Zuri Q. Caido

In this pandemic, we tend to express our feelings through social media and so do others. People on the internet are now calling out others too much to the fact that we call them out over little things. Why not just simply hit them up in their private messages and educate them the right way?

despite the fact that these are just descriptive words that should not be used against people.I really think we should cancel speaking at this point.

This generation has been called "snowflakes" and now I know why. We are getting too sensitive to the point that we call out the little things. Don’t get me wrong, pointing out mistakes can do no harm to oneself, but calling them out to the point where you send All around the world, teenagers and the generation of Z use social media platforms to threats over little things is immature. A lot of interact with others. This is the topic: Are we people are getting called out for saying slurs that they can not reclaim. Educating them is a really getting too sensitive? As a young person, do you think it’s right to call them out good intention, but if they already know that this is offensive and they won’t stop, that’s for unnecessary things? when you call them out. Our generation is well educated these days. Some are not because they lack information People are discussing whether the word and ways to be more educated about things. "bayot" is considered a slur. My Bisayan Instead of educating them, they call them out. friends told me that the word "bayot" is just Bisaya for "gay". I have read an article that it’s a Cebuano word that was used Which, for me, is unnecessary, because people tend to look at it as if they have bad pejoratively against people who were born male and are effeminate or identity as a intentions. For example, a group of young teenagers labeled people who use words like woman, but then again, I am not a Cebuano, so it's not really my place. I just think we need "stupid," "bobo," and "tanga" as ableist, to stop using this as an insult.

In my opinion, we should be more careful with our words and the way we address others; we appear to be overly sensitive and to "cry" over trivial matters. I think instead of calling them out to the public that can cause humiliation towards the person and can affect their mental health, we should just directly message and enlighten them about the situation and on what they did wrong. Regardless, we still need to tell them what’s right and what’s wrong by calling them out to get their attention. Others pretend to not hear them. So that’s when we call them out for that. Whether big or small, they need to be called out. For this reason, we call out too much. It is not your position to call them out, send threats and not educate them. Since you know better, give that knowledge to them. They might not be aware of the situation, so they will need this so that they won’t do it again. People are just pointing out mistakes and not telling them what’s right. In conclusion, we are getting sensitive over little things. We do not look into it, and so we just judge it quickly. Educating is better than canceling. Not knowing what a person’s personal life and self-experience are and not having the right information and knowledge on hand can be hard on them. Rather than only pointing out the mistakes, tell them how to improve and know better.

THE TWO SIDES OF THE GEN ZS For sure, you may have heard about Generation Z, often called ‘Gen Z’. People born in the mid-1900s through the late 2010s are considered one of them. Technology has changed the way Gen Z interacts, socializes, and receives information in comparison to previous generations. Generation Z's empathy is affected by their unique interactions and characteristics, so going through these events and seeing their effect affects how they view and consider others' perspectives.

Also, Gen Z has a holistic view of health, healthy eating and mental well being. 72% of them said that managing stress and mental health is their most wellness concern. Gen Z is known as the first "digital natives" and they were born into a world of peak technical innovation, where information can be accessed easily and stress-free. Denise Villa stated, "Generation Z has arrived and they’re different from millennials."

Unlike the millennials, this generation had to inherit a bad government that the millennials had voted for to be their leader. These leaders have been irresponsible and corrupted for the past few years. As well as this, the COVID-19 pandemic response is weak and now "the Gen Zs possibly now have an uncertain future," say the researchers.

Gen Zs, too, are capable of being independent, financially-minded, communicating, and being realistic. They have more knowledge and skills, especially now that technology is really advanced and fascinating. They want genuine acts that help Gen Zs succeed in the workplace. Those cultures are more dynamic, supportive, competitive, and less politically divisive, which is to be expected. Generation Z is more powerful than any other. Also, Gen Z has a holistic view of health, healthy eating and mental well being. 72% of them said that managing stress and mental health is their most wellness concern. THE TWO SIDES OF THE GEN ZS As to answer the question whether millennials are bad or good, we first have to look at their actions before judging them. Most of the people I know who are millennials are very hardworking. An example of one is Mr. Beast. He has a large YouTube channel with a lot of subscribers. His channel is known for giving away large sums of money and shows evidence that he does. In regards to this matter, not all millennials are necessarily good. In a study conducted by John Hopkins University, it states that millennials are arrested more often than their predecessors despite doing less crime. I believe that millenials are simply getting the blame for something that they didn’t do. Post-millenial kids nowadays are more spoiled and are very hard to deal with. Since their generation are close to the millennials, they are getting lumped in with them and are also taking part in the blame. It doesn't mean that all of them are good, but I believe that the good outnumber the bad. People say Gen Zs aren’t capable of being independent, financiallyminded, communicating, and being realistic. They ignore reality in favor of what they believe is best for them. Locking their doors from the outside world, and doing everything on their phones or on social media. Generation Z is said to be the most high-tech generation because, in the golden times, cell phones weren’t a necessity in our lives. This causes Generation Z to fully ignore everything in reality.

To be honest, Generation Z thinks differently than previous generations. They are more capable of accepting, understanding, and some are even mature. We do something that the older generations don't understand. They know what to do and we know how to communicate. The thing is, the older generations think that technology is eating up our minds. No. Technology teaches us a lot. It gives us a certain amount of happiness too. It gives us Gen Z's the opportunity to explore, learn, and communicate.

Once again, Generation Z has two sides, just like everyone else does. They might be more capable, mature, smart or even independent at their age, but, just like others, they also have bad traits. Unfortunately, older generations use those traits to stand against Gen Z beliefs instead of trying to understand them or educate them. That is why Gen Z tends to be more open than others because, unlike other generations, rather than opposing other people because of their opinions, they try to understand and educate others.
