Congregation Or Ami held its annual social event—Or Ami ONE, an Evening of Celebration—on March 25, honoring Rabbi Julia Weisz with the Samuel Wolfson Community Leadership Award. This prestigious award, presented to inspiring leaders whose life’s work promotes cherished Jewish values, celebrates community, giving back, family, and learning.

This year’s program honored Rabbi Weisz’s considerable achievements, including a nationally recognized youth program that is attracting new families in record numbers from all over the West San Fernando and Conejo Valleys. The steady growth in Or Ami’s Hebrew School and youth programs is a direct result of this innovative work. Or Ami’s inclusive, diverse, engaging programs offer vital life skills and a safe harbor for today’s youth.
