CALABASAS CHAMBER INSTALLATION GALA

The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce held their Installation Gala on January 28 at Calabasas Country Club to install the chamber’s board of directors and to pay homage to some worthy participants for their amazing accomplishments. The chamber awarded Kathleen Sterling, publisher of five local community newspapers, including the Las Virgenes and Calabasas Enterprise , the Spirit of Calabasas Award. This prestigious honor was bestowed to Kathleen, a chamber member since 1985, for her years of journalistic integrity as well as her many philanthropic efforts in the community. The Milestone Award was presented to Mike Franz, general manager of MercedesBenz Calabasas, for the dealership’s 40 years with the chamber, and the Chairman’s Award went to Mark Levinson, attorney at law, who served as board president last year. Mike McNutt of the LVMWD was installed as the chairman of the board. Lisa Clayden is the Calabasas chamber president and CEO. Mayor David J. Shapiro administered the oath of office.
