As a contractor and developer that has built multimilliondollar homes all across luxury neighborhoods in Southern California for over 23 years, Vinnie Sassoon is still passionate about building his clients’ dream homes.

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Vinnie became inspired by watching Hollywood movies from the 1980s and decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of building “dream homes” that were portrayed on the silver screen. Leaving all that was familiar, Vinnie set forth on a journey with a huge uphill climb, where he literally built his business from the ground up. He learned the basics of his trade by working fulltime as a construction worker while attending school to earn his contractor’s license. He slowly worked his way up until he had the experience and resources to start his own company, Primary Homes, Inc., which started in 2000.

Vinnie has built his livelihood by building people’s homes. His wide range of clientele includes high-profile personalities— actors, musicians, studio executives, and more. Today, all of his personal development projects are accompanied by renowned architects and interior designers. “My role is to build the most suitable homes for my customers,” says Vinnie. “And

I believe that the special relationship forged between myself and my clients during the project leads to perfect results.”

While Vinnie specializes in luxury homes, his company also works with clients who need more modest construction projects. “Not everyone can afford to build a custom luxury estate,” says Vinnie, “but that doesn’t mean that their dreams are any less important. Once I know what people are trying to achieve, we happily take on clients who are looking to do a partial or full remodel of their existing home.” Vinnie and his team also offer renovations, additions, ADUs, and other types of construction projects. No matter what the project, Vinnie’s desired outcome is always the same— to see that the job is completed on time and on budget with the customer completely satisfied.

Despite his outstanding work ethic, Vinnie is first and foremost a family man.
