Marty Levy is one of the most successful insurance advisors in the country and founded one of Southern California’s top insurance and employee benefit agencies, Corporate Strategies, Inc. (CorpStrat). The agency has served clients for over 30 years and ranks amongst the largest in Los Angeles. It provides employers with tools to attract, reward, and retain employees through both insurance and HR technology.
“I take great pride in our success,” says Marty, “which is founded on building great relationships. That only comes from years of trust and following our basic business fundamentals—to protect our clients’ assets and help them achieve their goals.”

Marty’s main focus is working with people on the issues that keep them up at night staring at the ceiling. “This is what I call life's what-ifs,” he explains, “the things that worry us, that keep us awake at night.” Marty’s top priority is properly protecting his clients from these “what-ifs” through planning and insurance protections. Marty is also consumed with creating plans for healthcare, sometimes using insurance planning called long-term care. “It’s unfortunate that many professionals and business owners spend so much time and energy creating assets while spending little, if any, protecting those assets,” Marty tells us. “Over 70 percent of all people will need healthcare later in life, yet most are ill-prepared to fund for it and do not have a plan.”
Marty is also a skilled life insurance analyst, having created a process used by actuaries, estate planners, and accountants called "The Life Insurance Audit," which helps people assess and evaluate all types of life insurance policies. “Life insurance is perhaps the most misunderstood, mis-sold and mis-represented product ever,” says Marty. “A life insurance policy without guidance is like flying a plane without a pilot.”
Marty lives in Calabasas with his wife, Kellee, and two children, Jill and Mitchell. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an elite group of professionals representing the top 1 percent of advisors in the USA. “I run a very successful business,” says Marty, “but it always comes down one simple thing: helping people achieve their goals.”. 818.468.0862 SafeSmartMoney.com Marty@CorpStrat.com
Francisco Alberto Mondet was born with an unsettling need to make everything look and feel remarkable—it’s that simple. In all the things that he looks at, Francisco sees something infinitely better just waiting to become what it wants to be.

His birth in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a family of luxury goods merchants dating back to Bazaar Mondet in Paris, France, hints at where Francisco’s obsession for beauty and appeal began. Francisco is the director of sales and product development for Conejo Hardwoods in Westlake Village, a meticulous purveyor and supplier of superior materials for custom home builders, architects, designers, and demanding homeowners.
“What drew me into partnering with Conejo Hardwoods’ President Roth Johnson seven years ago was his vison and commitment to seeking out and earnestly servicing the most discerning communities and individuals from Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, Westlake Village, Montecito, and Santa Barbara,” says Francisco. The integrity which underlines every decision Conejo Hardwoods makes as an organization is precisely why Francisco feels their success has been so prevalent for over 40 years, and it’s these values and standards which keep the company relevant to these localyet-world-class communities.
The very process of immigrating to the United States at the early age of 6 and knowing zero English inspired a rigorous sense of industriousness and determination which only proved to be a catalyst for his relentless pursuit to manifest anything he felt could be better or possibly just more aesthetically sound. After spending nearly five years engaged in college courses, strictly for his own enrichment, Francisco birthed a luxury handbag business which he fittingly called Mondet. Importing the finest quality Italian leather hides, teaching himself how to hand-stitch these heirloom works of art, and ultimately, having them featured in some of the world’s most prestigious boutiques was a milestone for Francisco.
Francisco met his bride, Jessica Marie, 10 years ago and says, “Sometimes in life you come across a creation which is perfect as it is. Jessica was exactly this and continues to be for me.”
Francisco and Jessica collaborate on nearly all creative opportunities—from her talented creative direction for the Mondet handbags to the many projects they embark on, including some up-and-coming socio-cultural-literary endeavors. Francisco and Jessica have lived in Southern California for the last decade with their three children, Paloma, Luna, and Massimo. conejohardwoods.com
Since 1990, Adam Kaufman has been completing searches for the most successful companies in Southern California. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Adam received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He began his career with KPMG, where he earned his C.P.A. license, before opening his own recruiting practice. In 1997, Adam merged his practice with Greg Hunt, a tax specialist, and Kaufman Hunt was born.

Adam’s specialty practice in Kaufman Hunt focuses on helping outstanding companies find the most qualified and gifted accounting, finance, and human resource professionals in Southern California. During the pandemic, his firm pivoted on several fronts. Zoom interviews became commonplace and helped expedite the selection process. He also added researchers, recruiting associates, and new technology as a result of the dramatic initial impact of the pandemic. It gave them the opportunity to reset, recharge, and then accelerate into the “new hybrid normal.” As a result, the firm has flourished!
Adam credits his extensive database, his far-reaching networking capabilities, and keen eye for exceptional talent as significant aspects of his success. “It’s all about making connections and delivering results.”
Adam lives in Calabasas with his wife of 30 years, Michelle, and has two grown children, Sam and Isabella. Years ago, Michelle was diagnosed with both multiple sclerosis and diabetes. While they are thankful the MS hasn’t progressed, it does inspire their gratitude and support of both the MS Society and various diabetes organizations in an effort to find a cure for these diseases. An avid athlete, Adam can be found often at Orange Theory or at The Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center where he regularly plays tennis. His other interests include dining out, travel, and real estate investing.
“As I approach my 60th birthday this year, especially in light of my dad passing away at the age of 37 from cancer, I am so grateful for my family, friends, community, health, and the opportunity to transform and enrich the lives of those I touch,” says Adam. “As my good friends know, my philosophy on life is work hard, play hard, make every day count, and laugh as much as possible along the way.” 21600 Oxnard St., #1120, Woodland Hills 818.888.0007 kaufmanhunt.com adamkaufman@kaufmanhunt.com
