Senior Concerns, a nonprofit agency with a long history of serving older adults and their caregivers, hosted its 35th-annual “Ultimate Dining Experience” at the Hyatt Regency Westlake on Saturday, February 11. Senior Concerns aims to help seniors remain in their homes for as long as possible and offers many programs to seniors—with financial assistance available to those with a demonstrated financial need. This year’s “Enchanted Garden” theme inspired everyone’s imagination to soar. Honorees included an award to Sharyl Overholser, who was named Philanthropist of the Year, and to Andrea Gallagher, who received the Extraordinary Moments, Extraordinary People Award. The title sponsor was Hugh and Keets Cassar, and the platinum sponsor was Logix Federal Credit Union. Proceeds from the event will help support Senior Concerns’ programs, including the Adult Day Program, Meals on Wheels, the Caregiver Support Center, and Senior Advocacy Services.
