You can volunteer to help maintain the grounds, feed the raptors, manage the calendar sales or maintain our website and social media presence. Raptor Refuge isn’t a zoo, but you can organise a tour with a small group or do a raptor “Rescue to Release” workshop with us.
Brightside is a sanctuary and shelter that rescues and re-homes hundreds of farm and companion animals every year.. We’re open strictly by appointment as Brightside is also home for it’s founder, Emma Haswell..
We advocate and campaign for farm and companion animals. Every year we educate thousands of students in schools and at Brightside and give hundreds of abused and neglected animals a permanent, loving and secure home at our Sanctuary. We are a voice for the voiceless.
PIGS (goats, horses, rabbits, all neglected pets and farm animals)
We also have animals for adoption including a number of rescue dogs
