Our Story
CAFE LIGHTING & LIVING been around since 1995.
We started importing cheap ten dollar lamps, and would sell container loads of them every month when the market was dominated by junk shops . We finally got approval for touch lamps and that’s when everything really kicked off. Although nobody will ever admit to having owned a touch lamp, everybody’s grandmother had one.
I spent two years gaining the certificates and accreditations required to import touch lamps then took myself off to a massive China trade fair to see if I could track down a supplier. A series of what-are-the-chances moments strung together resulted in a life-changing adventure.
I was selling the touch lamps I imported from a little variety store we had in Penrith Plaza. Then after 12 months of knocking on the door of three major retailers, I eventually got a call back. After making ground with the touch lamps, we then started importing big volume small appliances – CAFE LIGHTING (as it was named at the time) was the first company in Australia to import a kettle for under $25, and the first to bring in coloured small appliances.
We’ve always kept changing and evolving, because that’s what you have to do if you want to stay in business. As they say, ‘the rest is history’.

Located at 1048 Canley Vale Road, Wetherill Park NSW 2164, our warehouse opens 8am3pm Monday to Friday for pickups with ample parking space and team on hand to assist.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
White Glove Delivery provides a premium delivery experience, including room-of-choice delivery, unpacking, assembly, placement, and packaging removal, helping ensure a seamless installation process for residential and commercial projects.
BULK ORDER STORAGE OPTIONS
Bulk Order Storage options are available for approved projects, allowing clients to secure inventory in advance and schedule staged deliveries to align with installation timelines and project requirements.
DAMAGED GOODS PROCESS
All damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photographs of the damage, packaging, and shipping label, so our team can promptly assess and resolve the issue.
