Who is Chef Mark Powys?

With a background in French & Italian, Mark's been working in training venues since 2007. Iconic venues like Crown, William Angliss and Chisholm were privelidged to have him on staff, teaching apprentices and international students. Former head chef at restaurants such as Indigo, Augelloes, Not bread alone & Bellinis Restaurant to name a few as well as New York Latin, Carindale hotel, Garfish, Café san marco.

Favorite thing to cook: Any slow cooked foods using sous vide, braising and stewing methods.
Dislikes: People who chew with there mouth open!
Favourite food to eat: Anything Asian!
Favourite chef: Marco Pierre White. His firstbook cookbook/bio in the 90’s was an inspiring book to learn from and read as a young chef.
