From Līhuʻe to Kailua-Kona, attorneys and staff across our offices worked together to make a positive impact in the community throughout 2020. Below is a summary of some highlights from Q4 of last year.
Year-End Donations across the Islands
In honor of our clients and friends, Cades Schutte made year-end donations to several nonprofits and charities across the islands that have continued to support our community, especially last year when help was most needed. These organizations include: Aloha Harvest Aloha United Way Child & Family Service Domestic Violence Action Center Family Programs Hawaii Hawaiʻi Children’s Action Network Hawaiʻi Food Basket Hawaii Foodbank Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank Mālama Kauaʻi Mental Health America of Hawai‘i Project Hawaiʻi Inc. Family Programs Hawaii

AUW
Annual Aloha United Way Campaign

The Cades Foundation donated to Family Programs Hawaii’s annual holiday party, and Cades Schutte LLP attorneys and staff including Marc E. Rousseau, Michele S. Loudermilk (Family Programs Hawaii Board Member), Grace Nihei Kido, Joyce Darny, and Erika Galarneau volunteered at the drive-through celebration for foster children and their adoptive families by handing out gifts.
Through the firm’s annual fundraising campaign, and a generous donation from the Cades Foundation, we raised over $24,000 for Aloha United Way (AUW) and their many non-profit partner organizations. Pictured below are Michi Momose and Lisa K. Swartzfager with representatives from AUW.
