Course Additions The centerpiece of the transformation is four new holes set along canyon edges, each with expansive sea views.

The new number one hole begins at the future Golf Clubhouse and is adjacent to the driving range and racquet courts, encouraging fellow members to gather and watch opening tee shots. Playing downhill, the hole is a compelling Par 4 that stretches nearly 400 yards with southern views of the Sea of Cortez and a lakeside green.
Playing downhill and measuring 477 yards from the championship tees, the par 4 seventh hole at Cabo Real provides a spectacular panoramic sea view to a wide tilted fairway. The hole is highlighted by an infinity edge green with a canyon edge as the backdrop.

This par 4 follows the edge of a dramatic desert canyon, offering multiple paths to the green. The aggressive line tempts players to take on the carry and drive the green. A more measured route plays to a central landing area, leaving a more precise approach and difficult angle into the green.
This Redan inspired green plays back to the mountains, this Par 3 is nearly all carry with a fun ground game shot options leading into the green. With multiple tee positions, the hole may play as long as 207 yards.

Private Golf at Cabo Real: Timeline of Course Improvements Cabo Real will convert to a private course in late 2026. The course will close in September 2026 for a comprehensive renovation. Upon reopening in late 2027, Cabo Real will be amongst the highest quality private courses in Los Cabos.

Set along the edge of a dramatic canyon, Cabo Real’s new five-hole short course enjoys panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from every hole. Five distinct greens and multiple teeing options create a course for everyone, from families and those learning the game to seasoned players looking for a challenge. Bring a wedge and a putter and play it however you like. Located directly beside the clubhouse and just beyond the eighteenth, the short course is a social gathering place as much as a golf experience. In the evenings and after rounds, it becomes a natural place for members and guests to gather for an end of the day match.
