Hello and thanks for reading the first issue of Bobcats Illustrated. The goal for this magazine is to help promote Berryville High School athletics.

Special thanks go to award-winning photographer Charles Chappell, whose work is featured on these pages. We’re biased but we believe Charlie is the finest sports photographer in the state of Arkansas.

Peyton Smith scored his 1,000th career point in the Bobcats’ final game of the season and was an all-conference selection for the second consecutive season. Smith also was named to the Class 4A all-state team.

The Berryville Bobcats pose with the runner-up trophy from the Anstaff Bank Green Forest Holiday Tournament in December 2024. With four sophomores and one junior in the starting lineup for most of the season, the Bobcats won 15 games and advanced to the regional tournament, indicating the future is bright for Berryville basketball.

Kynadee Hopper, one of three seniors for the Lady Bobcats, was named to the 4A-1’s all-defensive team.
