What began in July 1998, when I was just a newly dedicated sales rep of one year, has grown into a much awaited event each year! I have had the pleasure of being present for it’s lifespan of 26 years and each year brings some new fun along the way.

From the excitement of the nominations to the big reveal, it is a community treasure. I love that people take the time to write in their favorite person or business name. The process has changed over the years from hand written ballots to online nominating and voting, thankfully haha. But the excitement of who won which category still never wavers. There is that sense of recognition from our local circles that matters the most and let’s face it, who doesn’t love an award or two?

The support I see on the daily in my community makes me proud to be a part of the Woodward community. Thank you,

What a ride! This is my second year with Woodward News’ Best of the Best contest and let me say that it has been wild! The amount of people coming out to support their friends, and favorite businesses shows what love this town has for its people and local economy.

I’ve seen so many take pride in being voted for over many years and new shop owners being excited for their very first win and it’s a great time each visit. All are gracious winners and as you will see express great thanks for everyone that voted for them. Thank you, Woodward, for making these businesses and people feel seen for the work that they do every day and thank you to our winners and nominees for doing such outstanding work in your fields!
