Presidents Message I am honored to welcome all our exhibitors, judges, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors to the 2023 CABA Classic and AWE dual show. Our theme this year as in the past two years is “Focus on Fun”. Our goal is to bring our exhibitors, both experienced and new, the most competitive, affordable, and fun show possible.

A show of our caliber requires much work to put together and I want to thank the CABA Show Committee for all their hard work in planning the show: Randy and Barbara Coleman, Laura Hall, Angela Rogers, Steve Johnson, Cammie Nussbaum, Vivienne Frankel, Deb Nelson, and Jay Southard. There are also countless show volunteers to thank for their help in working the show itself. To them, a big Thank You! We also thank our great judges for their services: Wade Gease, Ken Hibbits and David Barboza. And a big shout out to our awesome show superintendents: Steve Johnson (halter) and Brian Barfield (walking fleece) and our barn manager, Jay Southard.

We could not have the quality of show we do without the support from our farm and corporate sponsors listed in this show book. Thank you to each and every one of them for their financial support. We also want to thank our generous donors who donated herd sire breedings and other wonderful items for our live auction on Saturday, April 15.

Thank you also to our vendors who provide interesting, beautiful alpaca products for our exhibitors and the public to purchase and enjoy.

But most of all, thank you to all the exhibitor farms who are bringing their awesome alpacas to compete in the shows. We could not have the largest show in the NW without your support.
