HOW DID YOU ESTABLISH YOUR TEAM? Christy was the driving force behind wanting a career in Real Estate due to her passion for helping people to succeed in life. I thought it was a great idea and we decided to do it together. After getting licensed, we joined Greg Brown's team and have operated as a family as The Owen Group ever since. After several years in the industry, we recently added our daughter Crystal to the group.

WHAT ARE THE CORE VALUES THAT GUIDE YOUR TEAM AND THE WAY YOU SERVE YOUR CLIENTS? We believe that everyone deserves to own a home and we believe in service after the sale. We want to be our client's go to for all questions Real Estate whether it is a trusted lender, professional service provider, staging services or our own Home Wealth Center.

HOW DO TEAM MEMBERS’ INDIVIDUAL STRENGTHS COMPLEMENT ONE ANOTHER? We all bring unique personalities to the group. Christy is the nurturing type while I am more direct about things. Crystal strikes a balance between the two of our styles. All of us are able to adapt to the needs of the individual client to make sure they are getting the level of customer service that they deserve.

WHAT ADVANTAGES DO CLIENTS GAIN BY WORKING WITH A TEAM RATHER THAN A SINGLE AGENT? Access & Resources. Clients have busy lives and Agents have more than one client so having the ability to show a home with three or more agents available enhances the customer experience for the client. Our group and the team also have many resources that individual agents may not have such as our own CRM, Home Wealth Center, Moving Truck and much more.

HOW DO YOU ENSURE A SEAMLESS CLIENT EXPERIENCE WHEN MULTIPLE TEAM MEMBERS ARE INVOLVED IN A TRANSACTION? Communication. Their agent is always their agent. I may do a listing appointment for Christy or Crystal may show a house for me, but the agent they are working with always follows up and is the primary point of contact during a transaction.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR TEAM’S PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT OVER THE PAST YEAR? Adding Crystal to The Owen Group and Indiana Home Experts. As a full time medical professional at Parkview, it was tough for her to balance being a single Mom, study and still work full time. Seeing her fulfill that goal made us very proud of her.
