SAFETY FIRST
Safety starts with how we move and that includes protecting our bodies from strain and injury through smart ergonomics.
Ergonomics means designing your work tasks and environment to fit your body, not the other way around. Poor ergonomics can lead to fatigue, discomfort, or even longterm injuries like back strain, joint pain, or repetitive motion injuries.
Here are a few ergonomic tips for daily tasks:
Lift Smart – Always bend at the knees, not your back. Keep the load close to your body.
Stay Aligned – Avoid twisting your body when moving objects pivot with your feet instead.
Take Micro-Breaks – Short pauses to stretch or shift your position help reduce muscle tension.
Use Tools Properly – Whether it's a pallet jack, scanner, or desk chair, use it as intended and adjust it to your height when possible.
Report Discomfort Early – If you feel strain or notice repetitive stress, speak up before it becomes a bigger issue.
Your comfort and safety are part of what keeps our teams strong and productive.
