ABSENTEE BIDDING If unable to attend, bids can be placed by phone through one of our saleday phone staff. You first must set up a bidder number through our clerk or one of our sale day phone staff. You can rest assured that our staff will help direct you and answer questions with integrity in order for you to get the cattle you want, and bids will be handled in confidentially. A full guarantee and terms of sale apply to all bidders. TERMS & CONDITIONS Terms of the sale are cash or good check. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids. All cattle are to be paid for in full by the purchaser immediately following the sale and will not be released until settlement has been made. Cattle will not be transferred until paid in full. All cattle are sold under the terms and conditions of their respective breed to be free of any known genetic defects unless noted on registration papers or announced before sale. TRUCKING The sales staff can assist you with hauling arrangements and special needs to ensure a reasonable delivery rate, or contact Davis Holder directly at 270.670.2499. Consigners are willing to house purchased cattle an additional 5 days in an effort to help with pickup or to help coordinate trucking. STATE TO STATE TRANSPORT Our veterinarian will issue health papers for the release of the cattle to your state provided they meet your state’s requirements. All cattle should meet most state requirements. It is the buyer’s responsibility to understand their state requirements that may have special guidelines for receiving cattle. Buyers purchase cattle for transport at their own risk. GUARANTEE All guarantees, both written or expressed, are the responsibility of the individual consignor. All cattle are guaranteed to be as stated by the consignor. Every effort will be made to ensure safe handling of the sale cattle all the way through pick-up or delivery. HERD HEALTH All animals have been vaccinated and dewormed within 90 days of the sale. All animals sell with health certificates from each consignor’s personal veterinarian. This bull is ready for heavy service. 0161 has done a relly good job for us but we are scaling down on numbers and don’t need him anymore. If you are a commercial cattleman looking for weight at the stockyard, this is the bull for you. This AI bull our of Jindra Acclaim YW weight was over 1,000 pounds. You can expect moderate calve weights and then watch them grow. My other Acclaim cows have some extra length and carry their weight well.
Another heifer acceptable calve easing bull (CED +8) AI’d from SAV Platinum that will produce some great looking calves. I just used this bull with a few heifers and he has a nice gentle demeanor. Both sides of his mating’s are loaded with well known sires, including Basin Payweight 006S and SAV Pioneer.
