ummer Workgroup Meeting Highlights: June 11th, 2025

Monthly Scorecard at a Glance - Well done & great tracking tool

Birth Equity Improvement Process & Respectful Care (new terminology)

PREM Survey rates - Tops in the county with a 45 to 50%

response rate!

C-Section rates are trending downward

Physicians & Nurses will receive a Team Birth Orientation in

June and July - DONE!

Team Birth Marketing - Have met with County Staff and are coordinating August 6th, Press Conference - DONE!

Team Birthing Community Plan has been developed and is being implemented

Doulas & Midwives - various resources shared; Looking to hire at SJRH (more to come)

SJRH CARES community activities are in effect i.e. Bike Drive, etc.

WBMCCE- Westchester Black Maternal & Child Center of Excellence - Check out the website featuring various STSI community resources; https://WBMCCE.org

Intercultural Training - Phase 1 completed; Next steps are being explored and announced in the fall;
