WI T H YO UR COMMUNI T Y Congratulations! You have chosen the Berea Community’s Paper of Record run entirely by Baldwin Wallace University students - the ideal partner to connect with your customers. No one else reaches the nearly 4,000 students in the BW and Berea communities like The Exponent. You will be able to reach a community of over 3,200 students of which 54 percent are female and 22 percent are students of color. Seventy-eight percent of students come from Ohio and 84 percent live on campus and near your business. Our readership is not limited to students, however. You will also be reaching over 1,000 faculty and staff who work at BW, the vast majority of whom live in the area and patronize local businesses well after the work day is over. You’ll also be connected with 35,000 alumni who live in Northeast Ohio, as well as visitors, alumni, friends, and families who come to campus during special events like Homecoming, graduations, Community Day, and Week of Welcome for firstyear students. Finally, our newspaper is continuously evolving and building our readership among non-University affiliated members of the Berea community. DISTRIBUTION
ON AND OFF CAMPUS
The Exponent publishes and distributes 1,200 copies of new print editions every other Wednesday during the academic semester, which runs September to December and then January to May. Print editions of The Exponent are distributed to more than 30 newstands placed in strategic, high-traffic locations throughout campus so that you can make an impact and connect with potential customers. As the only source for Baldwin Wallace University news and information, The Exponent is regularly read by students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors alike. The Exponent is also distributed at a selection of local businesses in the Berea area. Current locations include Café Ah Roma, the Berea City Council, Dick’s Bakery, KidForce Collectibles, and more. Our off-campus distribution is always growing and we are constantly looking to expand our reach throughout the entire community. The following weekly print rates and sizes are based on the paper’s tabloid format, which is 11 inches wide by 17 inches high. Baldwin Wallace student organizations are eligible for a 30% discount; more information is available upon inquiry. Advertisers who can’t provide their own artwork may be able to utilize The Exponent’s graphic design team for select creative, design or layout services.
