Big Shots Kitchen & Bar is now a third successful restaurant in Peachtree City owned and operated by Ant and Dee Murphy. Georgia Shrimp Co., an upscale seafood restaurant with live jazz, and next door Murphy’s Bar, offering a full range of spirits. Ant Murphy says the similarities between Big Shots and his other restaurants are that the food style is South African and everything is cooked fresh to order. “We have fish and chips on the menu at Big Shots and a shrimp appetizer, but other than that the menu is very different.” Big Shots’ Bobotie Burger is a lightly curried lamb and beef patty topped with a fried egg, bacon, and banana on a fresh sesame brioche bun. Big Shots’ rib-eye steak is aged 45 days and their burgers are 100% brisket. “We like to think of our menu as quite modern with interesting sides mixed in with old-school items, like steak fries. We can feed carnivores and vegans alike”, says Ant. Big Shots caters to an adult market with all the corporate businesses in the nearby industrial area but is kid friendly and has an outdoor patio.
