Live Like Alyssa DECEMBER 1 Celebrating the life & mission of Alyssa Faith Hartfield Wright. On January 14, 1989, the world shined a little brighter as Alyssa Faith Hartfield made her grand entrance to this life. The oldest of three she lived and loved big. As a graduate of Union Grove High School, Gordon College, and Georgia Southern University, she obtained her Master’s in Education and began her passion serving special needs students at Woodland Elementary in Henry County. On July 5, 2017, Alyssa was tragically killed in an automobile accident. While saddened by her departure her family grew determined that her legacy should live on. Today a nonprofit established in Alyssa’s name continues to celebrate her life and mission by assisting with the educational needs of special needs students and the improvement of local school gardens. A portion of the proceeds from this #LIVELikeAlyssa event helps support the mission of this nonprofit.
