What is World Autism Awareness Day & The Light it up Blue Campaign? (WAAD) (LIUB) is Saturday April 2, 2016. This day, the world will show its support for the families and individuals who are affected by Autism. In 2007, the United Nations established this day to shine a bright light on this growing health priority. The Autism Speaks organization honor these families by celebrating its world Light it Up Blue Campaign. Thousands of iconic landmarks, homes and business will show their support for families affected by replacing white light bulbs with blue for this day or even the entire month of April. Parents and their families will be able to drive around their communities. They will see & feel the love and support of their neighbors with all the blue lights.
