On Plaid Friday November 28, shop in Downtown Newnan and simplify your Day-After-Thanksgiving experience! The name “Plaid Friday” celebrates the idea of LOCAL! Plaid Friday is the relaxing and enjoyable alternative to the big box store “Black Friday.”
Santa on the Square on the day after Thanksgiving. Santa will arrive downtown in a Fire Truck, and will immediately light the Christmas tree located on the Court House Square. After the lighting of the Christmas tree, children are invited to sit on Santa's lap and red him their Christmas list! This annual tradition in Downtown Newnan reminds us all of the importance of the holiday season: fostering hope, charity, forgiveness and kindness. This Litter-Free, Smoke-Free event is free to the public, and welcomes children of all ages.
26th Annual Coweta Christmas November 8 at 9AM - 3:30 pm
The Georgia Chapter of Alpha Delta is proud to sponsor the 26th Annual Coweta Christmas event at the Coweta County Fairgrounds on Pine Road. All proceeds will support a scholarship for a Coweta County high school student pursuing a degree in education, with any additional funds benefiting local community needs.
Join us for a day of fun with activities like children’s crafts, photo opportunities with Santa, and a variety of delicious food and drinks.
