Dear Friends, On behalf of the Mettler family I welcome you to the “Lighten The Load” sale of Polled Hereford cattle. The Mettler family has decided that because of age and health they should lessen some numbers in the cow herd, thus the “Lighten The Load” sale title. This sale features some of the most up to date breeding to be found in the Hereford industry today.

Several major features will be incorporated in the sale.

• Selling the dam of the popular, MPH 10H JUICE BOX Z3, that has been one of the most heavily used Hereford bulls in the ABS stud. Juice Box semen is in such demand by commercial and foreign cattlemen that he has never been out of the ABS stud.

• Selling the Dam of Distinction mother and full sister to the great Juice Box son, MPH Z3 BOX TOP C16. You will see several Box Top calves in the sale. They come easily and grow fast. Box Top has great actual performance as well as great EPDs. • Elite bred heifers. Be sure and take note of several outstanding heifers sired by Hometown, Remitall Online 122L and Churchill Red Bull 200Z. • A truly superb set of calves by R Leader 6964. The Leader calves include outstanding show heifer prospects as well as herd bull prospects.

The cows selling are all in their prime productive years. They are sired by many of the most sought after sires in the industry today.

The Mettler’s are third generation Hereford breeders. They are excellent cattle people and people with a reputation to do things right. The cattle in this sale are some that can go into most any operation and make a positive contribution.

The cattle will be on display at the new sale facility just up the road from the home operation. They will be easy to look at. They will not go through a traditional sale ring. All cattle will be presented on video in the sale facility on large screen TVs. The videos will be presented by Marc Hotchkiss of The Livestock Link and Mariah Miller will be working the LiveAuction.TV bidding.
