Welcome friends, family and cattle enthusiasts from everywhere. There’s never been a better time to be in the cattle industry.

This sale will represent over 45 years of Annette and myself having Hereford Bull and Female Sales. We started in the 80’s with Floyd Anderson and family and helped put on their first production sale. Then in the mid 80’s we moved to Fort Macleod and started our own sales. Where has the time gone. We’ve had the good fortune of travelling the world in selling, buying and promoting this great breed of cattle. We’ve marketed Hirsche genetics to over 30 countries and met thousands of the best people in the world. This summer, we had the cool opportunity to host several of these long time friends for Germany, Australia and the US. Thanks to you all.

Now looking forward. What kind of genetics have we been able to produce after a life time of breeding. I’ve always believed in big POWER cattle with performance, maternal and carcass. 15 years ago, we started emphasizing RFI, cattle that gain well, but do it in an efficient, profitable manner. GH Rambo was a perfect example of a big power bull and yet he became a trait leader in RFI and carcass traits. Still after 20 years, he ranks top 14% RFI with carcass being his strength. Top 1% for fat, 4% for carcass wt and 1% REA with a 1.17. Ranking him as one of the top bulls in the industry and marbling still at 0.8.

This year our sale theme is POWER with carcass, maternal and RFI. We can proudly say this group is far and away the best we’ve been able to offer. Many of our visitors this summer were overwelmed by the power and performance this group possess. The bull calves have carcass, pigment, testicles and extra power. Our coming 2 year olds are of the same model, only 15, but their feet and legs are impressive. The females represent 45 years of selecting, selling, and now, I finally feel this group is at the top and will continue on and make power cows. We’ve never had a better group both in the sale and at home.

We believe strongly in Hereford bulls being used in cross breeding programs and black cows are the best way to produce that BWF that’s needed. We once again have some Power F1 bull calves for sale. Our brother Dana has some of the best black cows anywhere. He took our great bull 777H, a flushmate to Blockbuster and produced this set of bull calves. We’re happy to have Dana and Laura as consignors to this Power Sale.

We are also pleased to have our sale at the Taber AgriPlex only 15 miles form our homestead where my siblings, Dana, Glen, Holly, Kevin, Clark and Heidi and I grew up. They’ve all helped over the last 45 years with all the ups and downs we’ve faced in the industry. It’s cool to be a part of this family and cattle legacy at this exciting time.

I believe strongly that the cattle offered in this group represents what we’ve been building for decades and will help any program as we move ahead. Please join us Dec. 5th for our famous Prime Rib Dinner and evaluate The Hereford Power.

HOMO POLLED Owned with Upstream Ranches and Little Fort Herefords and SkyVirtue. It’s been a long time since we’ve used a bull that we like so much. He is breeding even better than we had hoped. We got semen late in 2022, so only had a handful of calves in 2023, but fortunately, most were females so we have several 2 year olds in production. One of the very best is a feature in this sale. His calves the last 2 years have been outstanding. last year’s sale features, Marco 7M & Momentum 19M will be 2 of the best young bulls we’ve shown for years. This year’s calves are equally as good. They’re again features in this sale. They are big, power cattle with great pigment, big testicles and daughters have perfect udders. His EPD Profile is outstanding and keeps getting better. Trait leader now for weaning weight, scrotal, FMI, PWG, REA, Marbling and Carcass Wt. His dam is one of the best producing cows in the Upstream and Sandhill operations. She’s got a perfect udder and lots of milk. Insight will fix EPD #s as quick as any because of his breeding and the way he is producing so consistent.

HOMO POLLED

Owned by dallas Farms

Brad bought 44l in our 2023 sale. He was a feature then, but he’s now a proven feature. He is a true heifer bull with outstanding growth, both weaning & yearling are top 15% with a birth of 1.3, Marbling and Carcass Wt are top 8% and REA is top 18%. His EPd profile is one of the best, but his calves will speak even louder of his breeding. Several sons have herd bull potential for example Lot 46, 93N that has our best EPD profile in the sale. He is breeding well for dallas Farms as well. Another one of his sons was purchased in dam by Junior member, William dundass of Ogilive Ranches. He is having quite a successful show year. (see our Junior page.) 44l’s dam is a daughter of the great Haroldson Marvel cow. His dam 116J’s embryos and right to flush sell as Lot 9.

Polled We used this guy again this year cause of low birth, high growth, lots of pigment and outstanding body type. He’s a trait leader in weaning, yearling wt., Milk, TM, Cow fertility, udder suspension, test size, MPI, PWG, and marbling. Pretty impressive. Plus he will add pigment and dark color as well as any. Really a top outcross bull in Canada with great EPds. Calves at birth are super small and now are some of our heaviest. The heifers are the kind I really don’t want to sell. These are some of the first Desperados to sell in Canada.

HOMO POLLED Our high carcass bull that we’ve got more out of this year than any and we’re we happy we did. Just take a look at his EPD profile, Great growth Weaning at top 12%, Yearling 2% (trait leader), Milk 20% TM 3%, Trait leader for SC, REA, Marbling and Carcass WT. His full brother,“The Thomas County” bull, is a geat one. Here’s another opportunity to get ahead of the pack with this guy’s offspring. His progeny will be on high demand. The exciting thing is we have several that are fantastic with the kind of EPD profile we’re looking for and he is Homo Polled. But I think Elijah’s true value will be in his females. The ones we’re selling are the kind to build a program around. look at his mother. She’s the kind.

Excel - dam of Elijah dESpErado
l & HIS dam

Polled This is a true breeding herd bull. It’s really easy to find his progeny. They’re all the same type with his stamp. We love his daughters, but maybe his sons are better. Don’t know if we’ve used a herd sire that’s so strong with both sexes. Pretty impressive. Can’t hardly wait to get more of his daughters in production. He was purchased out of the MJT sale partly on the strength of his mother. MJT are also using a flushmate. Really good EPDs on maternal and carcass. He’s top 1% for scrotal, RFi and FMi. Top 3% for marbling & carcass wt, and still 39% REA. His progeny speaks volumes on his worth.

Polled Owned by kim and Parker davis. Great herdsire with great EPds. Top 1% for REA, carcass wt. And weaning growth. He’s top 6% for yearling as well. TM top 15 and scrotal top 25%, but most important are the calves he’s siring. One of the most successful show heifers last year and one of the top sellers out of the Red deer showcase, raised by kim and Parker, was his daughter. They have another one this year, doing very well. He has several daughters and sons in this sale and they are outstanding. Think they are the right kind. Copperstone has now proven his breeding value especially on the female side in our program.

Horned Purchased at the 2022 Calgary Bull Sales as dallas’s high seller. He’s grown into a big classy bull with a good disposition We really like his calves. They have lots of depth, growth and pigment with a great hair coat. We used him again heavy this spring. Several of his offspring are features in this sale both on the male and female side. Pretty good set of carcass #s with 3 traits in the top 35% and REA top 25%. He really adds performance, and also feed efficiency with RFI top 15%.

cow P owe R - 16 J em BRY os

Polled This is the kind of cow we’ve been trying to raise for 45 years of breeding Herefords. Truly the best we’ve raised. She’s big, really thick, extra deep and really classy and all with NO extra feed. She is familiar with the show ring, being a champion herself including Supreme over all breeds last fall at iPE, and qualifying the Supreme at Agribition. She’s had 3 natural calves and 2 have made the show team. First calf was sold as a sale feature to Simpson Ranches and her second calf, Marco 7M will be on the show road this fall. He’s already qualified for the Supreme at Agribition after just one show. We used him hard this spring as a yearling bull. Here is a chance to purchase embryos from my very best, bred to some of the newest and hottest genetics available. You will hear more from this outstanding donor cow in the future.

Homo-polled Would like to thank Medontes for finding this exciting young sire and for allowing us to purchase semen. The calves at Medontes and Churchill are outstanding and we couldn’t be happier with embryos from him and our 2 top donor cows. Oshoto is marked right and has good growth, Milk and TM. His class, style & power are second to none. There could be some powerful show heifer calves in these matings.

21, 2024 Polled We’re not supposed to have favourite children, but me and Annette have a favourite son in our cattle family and yes it’s this guy. His disposition is unreal and yet he’s so alert and proud. We need our cattle to not only breed carcass, maternal, structural soundness, performance, feed efficiency and Marco checks all these boxes, but he’s good to look at, head up and always walks with power and majesty. Yes, he’s an Insight son and his Dam is probably the best cow we’ve raised for a long time if not ever. But she is also proud and majestic with tons of milk. Marco’s EPDs are as good as I have raised. 16 traits on the right side of growth with 9 top 20 and all 4 carcass top 33 and 3 top 10%.

EPD P ERCENTILES FOR M ARCO 7M

His semen is going to be used in over 10 countries at his young age. We are using this guy alot. Watch for him on the show circuit this fall.

HAROldSOn’S HlV MARVEl48Y12B

HOMO POLLED Marvel 116J checks as many boxes as any of our donor cows. She was my pick in 2021 at the Haroldson sale. One has to be luck once in awhile, and that day i got her bought. lucky. She’s a daughter of the great Mavel dam at Haroldsons that has produced as many great ones as any and i believe 116J will stack up to most of them. Her first calf, 44L was a high selling feature calf that sold to Dallas farms. We used him for a few weeks the first year and wow, just look at a few of his ones, all on 2 year old heifers. lot 47 92n and lot 46 93n. She has another herd bull this year that we’re keeping. She has the best EPD profile of any of our donor cows. i am hardly wait to get calves from her and Momentum, Oshoto and Stampede. not only as the are sure to have great EPds, but will be the kind the industry needs. Pretty rare opportunity here.

Polled Churchill Stampede is one of the most talked about young herd sires our industry has had for a long time. He is extra special for us as his dam is a Desperado daughter and we’ve used desperado alot. All our yearling heifers in this sale are bred to a desperado son and our 2 feature yearlings heifers are desperado daughters. His dam, 219k is one of the great young cows i’ve seen and watched her sell for $200,000. Then Stampede sold 20% and full possession for $220,000. Congratulations to GKB for purchasing this exciting power bull. Just look at his EPD profile. BW 0.9, WW, top 9% and Yearling top 17%, Milk 30 with teat and udder of top 2% udder and 4% teat size. But his carcass #s are where he excels. REA of 1.0 top 2% and Marbling .63 top 2% also. This is a true sale feature to have embryos out of this stud and these 2 power cows (116J and 16J) They will be some of the first embryos in Canada to sell. *** Note Photo of his dam on Page 63, Lot 92

StampEdE m

Polled This is the matriarch of our herd. She was the dam of our popular MVP bull. She produced good ones every year. One of her feature heifer calves 9k sold to kimberlee and Parker davis. She won Reserve champion as a Yearling at Swift Current and continues to be one of their top cows. 253W’s maternal influence is present in the cattle we offer every year including this sale. We don’t have this great donor cow anymore, so these will be the last to sell. We have quite a few that we will keep putting in. Truly one of the great power cows in the industry.

strAiGHt Horned PediGree if you have followed our program for the last few years, you will recognize this cow. She excels in some of the traits that really matter. Low birth, Maternal calving ease Udder and Teat score of 3% and 4% respectively, plus Longevity and pigment and she passes it all on to her progeny. 8B has 4 outstanding daughters in the herd and every one has a perfect udder. This is truly a cool chance to buy one or maybe 2 of these 5 gems out of 3 different sires. The embryos offered will be some of the last we sell. Pretty special cow and she’s Straight Horned.

Polled One of the new proven sires that is gaining popularity. Was 2021 Grand Champion Polled Hereford bull at Reno and Champion Spring Polled Bull at Cattlemen’s Congress in 2022. Yes, he also has carcass. Both REA and Carcass Wt are ranked 1%, Marbling 17%. Fully pigmented, short marked of white. Has the phenotype to be a show champion and still a carcass bull. Not easy to do.

l ots 23A-23 e

Another special feature. The pick of our 28B embryo calves out of 2 different sires. Elijah, Stimulus and Insight. All 5 of these calves were born in Saskatchewan and just got on feed last week, but are really doing well. It will be fun to watch these 5 daughters. You can see the great 28B stamp on them all. All different sires, but are very similar in all other areas. They look like sisters. With 28B as their mother, you can be assured they will milk and have perfect udders. 28B will fix udders better than any cow we’ve owned. All 5 of these would be fun for a junior next year. They will be outstanding yearling show prospects. You can only pick one, so pick wisely :) We will probably be showing the others next fall as well.

Great EPDs, top 15% marbling, teat and udder score top 15 and 20%

Horned This is a true feature. Only offering her in this sale to show the power of our great donor cow, 28B. 106n could well be the top cow prospect in the sale. i love her power, body depth and she is still ultra feminine. Her dam, 418H is maybe the best 28B daughter and she produces well. She has a yearling heifer, lot 24B and feature heifer calf in last year’s sale. She is also a sister of our feature “pick of the 28B daughters” lots 23A 22n, 23B 23n, 23d 48n, 23C 49n, & 23E 129N. 106N is horned out of our Dallas bull Jaxon. You will see many of the features in this sale are his sons and daughters. nice growth EPds in both weaning and yearling. This one will do nothing but keep getting better as she gets into production.

Every year we offer a special female lot that represents our breeding program. This year we are offering, 160L and her young Elijah granddaughter. This is one of the best young 2 year old’s with her calf we have offered. We can’t pack more of our bloodlines into one any better than these 2. They represent everyone of our superior cow families. Our good friend, Peter Martin of Eagle Rock, purchased a 171Z x Stock Option embryo and raised 160L’s mother. He then bred her A’I to Insight and 160L is the result. She’s just an end of April heifer and is raising one of our top heifer calves. We never put her with a bull till June of 2024, so she caught first cycle and calved at 21 months. I’ve never had a female that is so easy doing as 160L. She’s had NO grain to this point and is still our fattest 2 year old. Perfect udder with tiny teats. Good hair and perfect feet. Her granddam 171Z has produced 4 herd bulls. We calved several of her embryos this spring and were lucky enough to get several daughters and so felt we could offer this great one. She is truly one of a kind. You can see her and her daughter at Farmfair and Agribition this fall. She has a great set of EPDs, 17 traits all on the positive side. All 4 carcass traits top 34% with marbling top 18 and REA top 21. I love the style and complete package this pair offers. They excel in every way.

Producing cattle that will do well in the show ring for our junior members is important, but for these heifers to lay down and produce cattle that the industry needs and are easy for our juniors to market is the most important attribute we are striving for. Disposition is also high on our list. There are studies showing calm cattle have better carcass traits as well and are more tender. This is a special group that I believe will show well, but the maternal strength of these heifers is superb.

Polled A true feature. insight daughter that will be one to show now, next year and especially as a cow/calf. She’s already been shown once and was Reserve Calf Champion. She has an outstanding carcass profile, all 4 traits are top 20%, REA top 15 with both weaning and yearling top 30%. 67n combines power, class and style all in one package. She’s ultra feminine, but still really heavy muscled. Disposition is unbelievable. Will be a complete sweetheart for any young junior. They will love her. She’s that kind.

Horned The only “Marble” 1G daughter in the sale and she’s a bell ringer. Horned pedigree going back to Script on the bottom side of the dam and Nixdorff breeding on the top of the cow. Dam 154J is a great producer, raising last year’s feature desperado son, 13M. We used him this spring and he is now working at High River Colony. Great milk of 32 and top 20% RFi. She like all of our Marble 1G progeny, has great hair with lots of pigment. She’s got tons of performance and will turn into a great cow. Owned with Apple lane Herefords

Horned This is a big time show prospect & future donor prospect. Her dam is a great one with a perfect udder and lots of milk. Her calf last year is feature bred heifer lot 96 79M. 72n has 2 other sisters with great bull calves in the sale. Feature lot 39, 16n and lot 64, 95n. 16n and his dam were our Female champion pair last month at Armstrong. Great producing cow family, but 72n could well be the best one. She’s got Neon 4 times in her pedigree. Her name Fancy Nancy really fits. She is so feminine, but deep and pretty stout. Marked perfect with great hair. You know she’s going to have a perfect udder. i can hardly wait to see her as a wet 2 year old. nice EPds with marbling top 20. Watch for her this fall. She will be in our show string and she is horned.

Polled Another top, top heifer out one of our best show cows and donor dam 116G. This heifer can run with the best of them and she’s an Elijah. I hate selling ones this good and bred this way. She will prove her worth after she has her first calf. She’s 116G’s natural calf. Both her and her dam came in this fall as our fattest pair. not a bad trait to have, very easy doing. nice EPds especially on the carcass side, top 1% for marbling with .51 and carcass wt top 16%. RFI top 40 and both udder and teat 1.3, testicles also top 18% with good growth numbers. Great hair as well and marked right, with 2 pigmented eyes.

She’s had 2 great bulls and this heifer. Her calf last year is our feature 2 year old bull lot 76, 40M, while her first calf was used on heifers and sold as a 2 year old. 105N has a nice EPD profile with 11 traits top 45%, REA top 10% with a .78 EPd. 3 of 4 carcass traits top 25%. Horned Another great Jaxon. Her dam is another moderate Perfecto daughter with a great udder and milk. 118n is going to be pretty good, marked as good as one can make one and has some great EPD figures. Both weaning and yearling top 14%, RFI top 20%, REA and Fat top 20 & 25%. This is one to watch for down the road as she just keeps getting better and better. She will catch your eye with her dark cherry red hair coat.

Horned This will be one of the great buys in the sale. i like this Jaxon daughter. Really soft with perfect markings. Dam is a great uddered Avalanche daughter with tons of freckles. Her mother 339H, has a feature bull in the sale lot 65, 146n. 137n is marked right and has huge growth EPds both in the top 15%. Another female that will increase in value every day of her life. Her maternal brother sells in the sale as lot 84, 108M.

Polled A polled February heifer that we put in as a heifer i think will be a great show yearling. i love the Copperstones once they get on feed. 101n is doing the same. She’s probably the nicest fronted heifer we’re selling. She also has one of the best EPd profiles in the sale. 13 traits top 45% and 4 top 5%. Huge REA of .95, think the biggest in the sale ranking her 1% for REA. She’s got a great combination of huge weaning top 1% and top 15% for yearling, 22% RFi, milk .32 with TM top 6, great teat and udder score. Once again we’re offering the best of our 2025 bull calves. They are truly a great group. I think there’s a misconception in the industry that carcass cattle give up quality in the other areas. I can testify that doesn’t have to be the case. This group is a prime example of this philosophy. Not only do they excel in EPDs with teat, udder score and RFI, being a high priority, but they are the thickest, best pigmented, and show as much performance as any we’ve raised, all the while still boasting carcass traits. Big REA means more muscle and thickness. I think we’re all trying to achieve thicker cattle and doing it with efficiency. Hair is also a great asset with this group.

2025 Horned Terms announced sale day. newcomer is truly one of the best horned calves we’ve raised since Rambo and, Yes, he’s double bred Rambo on the dam’s side. She’s a great uddered Rambo granddaughter with 100% eye pigment and perfect feet. Her dam is also perfect uddered and a great producer. One of her daughters has sale feature lot 62, 104n. Her calf last year was also a feature bull selling to Allen Ranches. lots of power and maternal. His sire 1404 was champion Horned bull at Agribition and shows as much muscle and power as any bull we’ve used. newcomer and his dam were Grand Champion female at iPE while he was bull calf champion and Reserve Grand Champion bull. They were also Reserve Senior Champion female at the Canadian Junior Bonanza shown as a pair by Sydney Stewart. 16N is a great combination of Rambo’s performance and class and has the power and muscle of his sire 1404. One will drive the wheels off your truck to find one with the kind of muscle, performance and maternal 16n has. Great set of EPds with 3 of the 4 carcass traits top 50% and REA top 20 with fat top 1%. Great weaning and yearling both top 30% with maternal calving ease top 20%. He also has huge testicles that hang perfect and great hair coat. We will want to use this guy a bunch.

Horned Another great herd bull prospect out of the Agribition Champion in 2023, 1404. dam is one of my favorite cows. An uptown daughter and Rambo granddaughter, with power, style and class and a beautiful udder. She’s for sure a herd bull mother. Wish all our herd bulls had dams this good. Her calf last year was a feature at this year’s Calgary Bull sale and was Reserve Champion Calf. Power set of EPds, especially on milk, performance and RFi all top 10% of our breed. nice REA of.50 and fat top 1%. This guy will be easy to find sale day.

This guy will have alot of friends sale day. Sure to be a fan favorite. He’s big, deep & thick with great dark hair coat and lots of pigment. He checks all the major boxes. Herd bull producing dam as well with tons of milk and perfect udder. He excels in Maternal calving easy ranking in the top 6% and top 6% SC with huge dark testicles, but his most impressive # is RFI, top 1% with a 116 EPD. Nice carcass numbers as well with a big REA and Carcass weight. He also boasts a birth EPd of 0.3 and 69 lb birth weight. He doesn’t look like that now. Pretty special in our program. I don’t have many 0.3 birth EPds that look like he does and his numbers are genomic, so they reflect his own DNA. Definitely Herd Bull potential. We will be using him in our program. This is truly my buddy. Never had a calf with this kind of disposition and personality. He will come from a 100 yards away to get a scratch, but he’s also a Herd bull in the making. Stood 3rd in a really good class at Bonanza and is even better now. He’s extra deep with class and style. Great pigment and big testicles. His dam is one of our top cows and was on the list to show this fall. She’s big, deep and a great producer. Her first calf, 26L was also shown at Bonanza and is owned by Chloe loane of PEi. Her calf last year was our feature at Calgary Bull Sale selling to William day. Buddy has a great RFi EPd top 7% and both teat and udder score 1.3, Maternal calving ease to 15%.

Polled Another Elijah and a great uddered cow. This guy checks alot of the boxes and will be used in our program. He’s big, and long with good hair and a big scrotal. Great EPD profile with 12 traits in the top 30%, lots of performance with weaning top 20%. Only one negative is fat which is ok in my books on the cow side. Teat and udder score both top 20% with good milk and TM. The last number i need in a herd bull is Scrotal and he’s in the top 11%. 11n has it all, top cow family, great outcross sire and good EPdS all in a big power package. Watch for him at the Alberta Showcase in Red deer.

Polled if you’re looking for power, growth and performance in a classy package, here he is. Truly one of the best bred calves with an outcross pedigree. The only Guardian out of our top 132F donor cow. This guy will be on the show road this fall. He’s powerful with outstanding EPds, 9 traits all top 10%, especially in growth and carcass, both yearling and weaning top 1% and TM top 5%, and look at his RFI, top 14%. Not only huge growth, but does it efficiently. 3 of the 4 carcass traits, top 20 with marbling and carcass wt top 1%. Marbling at .51 and REA .63 Pretty impressive. Will be fun to see him in the carcass class at Red Deer. Has a little more birth, but hard to get much growth and power with lower birth. Just look at his weaning 81, that’s as high as lots of yearling bull weights. This guy will make money in the feed lot. Growth, muscle and carcass.

Polled Recommended as a heifer bull. Great calf with a lot to offer. Our friend and partner Curtis Rasmussen was up just after 1N was born. His young son, Aiden went to see the new baby and they played tag for 1/2 an hour, each taking turns chasing each other. it was hilarious. i’ve never seen anything like it. Hence, the calf’s name. Aiden, and he has been a farm pet ever since coming to say hi whenever you in the pen. Aiden is big, long with great SC and lots of performance especially when he started at 67 lbs. Had a short gestation and came 14 days early. He’s an outcross as he represents some of our first Elijah’s to sell. Tons of maternal and udder quality here. 29 EPd for milk and 56 TM. He has 3 of the 4 carcass traits on the positive side with marbling being top 4% with a .46. He will be one of the highest marbling calves to sell this fall. His dam 41J has produced 3 other great bull calves. last year’s calf 18M sold as a feature to Allen Ranches in Colorado. The Grandmother, 410X was one of our premium cows

Polled This guy will add performance, power and maternal. He’s one of the biggest calves and his numbers show it. Top 5% for both weaning and yearling EPd, but most impressive is his carcass profile. Polled This is one to keep an eye on. Think he could be one of the sleepers in the sale. He was on a poor milking receip, but now he’s not gaining about 5 lbs per day. He’s out of our 28B cow, the dam of our “gems” the maternal sisters pick lots 23 A,B,C,d & E. One is 22n lot A and today she is number one and will show at Red Deer. 28B will fix udders as well as any cow we own. His sire is Elijah, so the carcass will be there as well as the great body type. This guy will make a happy customer.

Polled This will be one of the feature calves when it’s all done. Receip mother didn’t feed him well, but he’s gaining over 4 lbs/day since weaning. Another Elijah out of our great 28B donor cow. 28B is straight horned with huge goggle eyes and perfect udder. We’ve never had a cow fix udders like 28B. Every daughter we have ( and we’re getting quite a few) has a perfect udder and lots of milk. 28B’s daughter and granddaughter have features in this sale. With Elijah on the top side and 28B on the bottom, I can say with alot of confidence 2N, will be one of the best maternal bulls we’re selling. He is well marked, but he will add more pigment than he shows. He’s one we would use.

Polled Another ET calf that didn’t have a fair shot on the receip side. He too is gaining over 4 lb/day. His dam is 171Z another one of our foundation Horned donor cows that is showing up more and more all the time. She has a daughter, a May 2 year old sired by insight, that is a feature lot in this sale. 160l lot 25 is truly one of the top females we’ve offered for sale. She will be shown this fall with her sale feature heifer calf, lot 26. 6n is one of the first Stimulus sons we have offered for sale. Everyone that used Stimulus, reports he bred really well. Little Fort had a feature bull calf out of him last year that they sold in our sale to Simpson Ranches. 6n will be a Herd bull. i guarantee he will make a happy customer, might even be the buy of the sale.

Polled This is one of my picks. He’s big, long, thick and has a big power cow to back him. She’s a 171Z daughter out of Warren Girodat’s Agribition Champion “Bolt.” This guy has good growth and testicles all top 35%. His RFI numbers are really impressive at 115, top 2%. not only does he have growth and performance, but he does it in a very efficient way. Another example that big growth cattle can have great RFI numbers as well. 139N is marked well and will take off white. He has it on both sides of his pedigree. He was picked first in his class at Hardisty Field day and made some friends. Owned with Jason dahl

Horned This guy has bull written all over him. He’s big, thick, deep with tons of power. He will travel to find the cows. His dam is a great Page daughter with lots of milk. He’s quite a different outcross pedigree. i really like his mother, but then she is a granddaughter of our great 315Y cow. She had 2 other daughters, last year’s feature heifer selling to Jackson Denschikoff and the other is a great uddered insight with a super heifer calf. 140n has great markings, excellent pigment and lots of performance with yearling and weaning top 18%. Another outstanding 44l Marvel son. They’re the kind we need alot more of. Really small at birth and then explode. Her natural calf this year sells as feature heifer lot 31, 97n, may be our best heifer calf. Sire is our Churchill outcross bull desperado. 26n was an ET calf out of Sask so he’s a little behind, but by sale day, he will be one of the features.

Polled Here is a good bull with an outstanding pedigree. His dam is a great 132F daughter with a great udder. This is her first calf and she’s got another good bull this year. Her mother has a feature calf lot 44, 91n that’s our carcass feature. This guy has great carcass as well with 3 or 4 traits top 20%. He has a huge REA of .74, top 11% Really big performance as well with both yearling and weaning top 5%, milk top 40% with TM top 15. Scrotal top 12%, and he does it all very efficiently with an RFI top 22%.

Horned Another Jaxon son out of a great Perfecto daughter. Big, long bull with lots of performance with great growth EPds, both weaning and yearling are top

at 24%, and fat top 1% This guy will add

your steer calves and still keep the maternal.

Horned One of the good long yearlings in the sale. His sire has been one of our best breeding bulls and his dam has one of the very best heifer calves this year. We were thinking of showing her. She’s a big power cow with a great udder. 62M has good EPds, but really excels in the feed efficiency department with an RFI of 119, ranking him top 1% of the breed. He has great maternal as well. Milk top 35%. This is the kind that will keep you in the cow business. His daughters will eat way less and still be top milkers.

Horned This is a well bred son of the great breeding dallas bull Jaxon. This guy’s mom is a great cow. Moderate, but really deep and easy doing. Her calf this year in one of my favorite heifers and sells as lot 30, 142n. She’s probably one of the deepest heifers i’ve ever seen. 103M will take off white, add pigment and add lots of maternal. Great feet and legs. This guy’s also not one to “sit at the water hole,” he’s going to find the cows.

Polled Recommended for heifers

Another Jaxon son out of another Perfecto daughter. Her calf this year is a feature heifer calf lot 36, 118n. 84M has good growth numbers with both top 25, REA and Fat top 20 & 30% also. Another bull with good performance and good RFi, ranked top 20%.

This is a good consistent group as we’ve offered for sale in the Bred Heifer department. These heifers have had little extra feed up to now, just grass and some are plenty heavy. A great problem to have. This is the right kind. Several of these heifers have the makings to be donor females.

Breeding on all heifers:

PE April 3 – April 10 to GH Final Chapter Marshal 1M (Lot 77) April 11- May 7 to GH Desperado Mandate 21M (co-owned with Randy Wagner) May 8 – June 10 to GH Final Chapter Marshal 1M

Polled Another one I should be keeping. I just don’t have enough insight daughters. They are the best all round females i’ve had for a long time. This one’s dam has a great heifer calf this year. 27M has a really nice balanced set of EPds 3 of 6 carcass traits are top 20%, fat is the only one it’s still top 80. Teat and udder scores are both good, growth shows weaning top 28& and yearling to 25%. Great birth at 3.6. 27M is dark read with great eye pigment. She’s moderate, but really thick and easy doing. This is the kind that will stay around for along time.

Polled Someone is going to get a great buy. Both 41M and 42M are dana’s young June heifers. They are both out of the great 777H bull, Blockbuster’s Flushmate and the sire to our feature F1 bull calves. 41M’s dam is truly one of our best cows if you’re looking for power and performance. She’s the kind we should flush. Weighs over a ton and has perfect feet and udder. Her heifer this year ranks top 10. 435H is a direct daughter from our very best Anderson cow 35W. 42M is equally as impressive with style, power and pigment. Her dam is a Stock Option daughter with a great udder and milk. She raised a great bull calf this year as well. lots of carcass here with all 4 traits top 40% and marbling top 19%. These 2 heifers are truly special when considering they’re June calves and fit in with the older January girls.

Special Thanks to Dana & Laura for being a part of our sale and their support.

This is another young heifer with a bright future. Her dam got lost in the Nelson Hirsche shuffle and didn’t get registered, but she’s got a great pedigree. Her sire is Eclipse and her mother is a duke daughter, so there is lots of maternal in this heifer. She produces a top calf every year or she wouldn’t still be here. Her calf this year weaned at over 800 lbs. 31M is another 777H daughter.

Polled This one is really hard to sell. Great uddered dam, we got her from Justin and Ashley Still. Perfect uddered cow. 57M will make alot of friends sale day. Polled These 2 Elijah daughters have been 2 of my favorites since birth. 17M has as size, power and thickness as any. Horned Terms Announced Sale day

We love our Perfecto daughters, but this one is about 3 notches high than any of them, which is no surprise considering she’s a 315Y daughter. We’re fast running out of our great 315Y embryos, so not only is 26M outstanding, but we won’t be making many more. 315Y is the dam of 3 of the greatest Herd Bulls we’ve ever raised, Eclipse, Blockbuster and 777H, plus her 2 famous daughters, “Fatty Faye” owned by Tava Gustafson and donor dam 132F. “Resi” 26M is truly a POWER female. This is my kind of female. it takes a cow with power to produce Herd Bulls. Example, 315Y, not the prettiest, but great udder, milk and POWER. Hence, she raised my greatest herd bulls. i think there is no end to the future this female will offer. She also possesses great EPDs, 3 of the 4 carcass traits are top 30 with 2 top 10, REA and Fat. RFi is also top 12% with milk top 29 and TM, top 6%. unreal growth and weaning, with weaning at 1% and yearling top 2%, birth is a moderate 5.2, teat and udder score a good 1.2.

One will travel a long ways to find one I like better and yes she’s horned. Pretty hard to find a heifer with this power, pedigree, class and EPds especially horned. Find a great horned bull that excels in marbling and she will do the rest. Already a show winner, watch for her at Edmonton, Red Deer and Agribition.
