It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 38th Annual Gopher the Purple Sale. As I write this letter it is early November and we recently wrapped up doing pictures and videos for the sale and are putting the finishing touches on the catalog. It is one of my favorite times in preparation for the sale. Traveling across the state, visiting the consignors and getting a hands on look at the cattle in the sale. As a true testament to the commitment of the members to this great organization and this sale they have brought you one of the largest consignments of cattle in recent memory. Not only large in numbers but the quality is as big and deep as ever as well. Every day when we would travel to our next video location Logan and I would spend the majority of the trip talking about all the cattle we worked with that day and how impressed we were with the quality we had seen. I invite all of you to join us in Hutchinson for a great Hereford weekend, a time to renew old friendships, meet new friends and the opportunity to acquire some of the best Hereford genetics in our region. Guarantee: We guarantee the heifers to be breeders, but reserve the right to test any animal that may be returned to us as a non-breeder for 90 days before making an adjustment. Cattle will be returned at buyer’s expense and, if declared as a sound breeder by a competent veterinarian, cattle will be returned at buyer’s expense. In case an adjustment is required, it will be made with a replacement of equal value of the animal in question or credit on the purchase of another animal. No adjustments on any animals will be made after 10 months from date of sale.
