First and foremost, I would like to welcome you to the Inaugural Big League Genetics Sale that will be held at the Loewen Hereford Farm in Waukomis, Oklahoma. This is an elite offering of Hereford genetics that excels in udder quality, performance and carcass merit. A few of the lots are the number No. 1 bull or female in the entire breed when you consider their EPD profile! These breeders have worked diligently in concentrating on the economically important traits in the Beef Business, and I hope as you study the catalog you will find animals that will bring value to your breeding program. The Lot 1 female and her bull calf, Lot 1A, have created quite a stir. 01E is a powerful two-year-old, and her homozygous polled herd bull at side is the No. 1 bull in the breed when you consider his combination of CED, BW, WW, YW, Milk, REA, IMF and $CHB. If you seek udder quality, then the Lot 2 family is where you need to look; this proven dam and her daughter have about as picture-perfect udders as you will find anywhere. Lot 3 is sired by the No. 1 Marbling bull in the breed, Validated. DIRECTIONS FROM TULSA, OKLAHOMA OR WICHITA, KANSAS From the intersection of I-35 and 412, go west on 412 for 25 miles to 78th Street. (You will see the Farmland Fertilizer Plant.) Turn left and go 2 1/2 miles (passing the fertilizer plant), turn right on Southgate Road. Go west 1 mile to 66th Street, then turn left and go south 5-1/2 miles. You will see a “Loewen Herefords” sign at 9815 S. 66th. Turn at the mailbox that says Loewen. It is the only house in that mile on the east side of the road.

I-40, I-44 and Highway 3 will all exit, but continue north on Hwy. 74 to the Douglas/Pioneer School intersection, which is 10 miles from the intersection of Hwys. 74 and 51. Then go 11 miles west and 1-1/2 miles north to the Loewen’s. The house is 1/2 mile north of Pioneer School.

Buyer’s option flush • Selling the buyer’s choice of flush options on 7098. • Option 1 – The buyer will have the option for either a conventional or IVF flush and will be guaranteed a minimum of six transferable embryos, receiving all the embryos produced that exceed the minimum guarantee. The conventional or IVF flush will be conducted at Trans Ova in Sterling, OK. The buyer will responsible for supplying semen and all costs associated with the flush. 7098 is open and ready to flush once payment is received. • Option 2 – The buyer will share with Birdwell Ranch in a conventional or IVF flush, to be conducted at Trans Ova in Sterling, OK. The bull of choice used for the flush will be mutually agreed upon by both the buyer and Birdwell Ranch. The buyer will be guaranteed three 90-day pregnancies. Embryos will be split equally; in the event that 7098 produces an odd number of embryos, the odd numbered embryo will go to the buyer. All costs associated with the flush will be split down the middle between the buyer and Birdwell Ranch. 7098 is open and ready to flush once payment is received.
