It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 33rd Autumn Alliance Sale. With saying that, this year we’ve changed things up a bit. We’ve dug really deep to put two year olds and cows with a lot of future left into our offering. Many of these females are of donor quality. The heifer calves at side give a true testament to the ability of these cows. Just because some are raising steer calves, it’s not their fault! These cows are equally impressive. The two bull calves selected are both unique and intriguing.

Over the course of every year we require some people to assist us. To family, staff and occasional help a heartfelt “Thank You.” Without the assistance everything would not get done.

As to be expected, our Alliance partners have selected from their respective front fields. Each program has their own individuality, which makes for a stellar consignment.

Welcome to the thirty third edition of Autumn Alliance. It is often said “saved the best for last,” this is certainly true when it comes to the Ontario Hereford weekend . The fact that this sale has stood the test of time and has become the nation’s longest running female sale confirms it. The anticipation as to what awaits us on the lawn out back at Medonte is always on everyone’s mind. Let me be the first to tell you, it has never looked better!

The catalogue leads off with an opportunity to become a part of a very exclusive group of industry leading breeders.” Action” was the high selling bull in 2013, himself and his dam have since won many championships. His first calf crop is proving him not only to be a champion, but a legend. Double J purchased “Action” and allowed a small group of breeders exclusive two year semen packs. The resulting calves are incredible, everyone who used the bull feel he has more than exceeded expectations. Due to the quality of the calves, the majority of the breeders who purchased semen packs originally have come forward to speak for additional semen packs with the terms that the bull will be kept exclusive in Canada to the group forever, meaning no semen will ever be offered on the open market. The decision has been made to offer only two more opportunities in the bull...don’t miss your last chance to get into the Action!

The females on offer combine the best proven genetics with the latest stars in the Medonte bull battery.

This will be your first opportunity to purchase “Action” progeny, several heifer calves with that competitive edge and one great herd sire prospect. This year’s offering also includes a group of outstanding heifers sired by Agribition Champion, JJPH 83T Benchmark 127Y, that exhibit a higher degree of muscle and capacity that you would expect from this powerful sire. The” Benchmarks” like the “Actions” are only in the hands of few and stick out amongst a crowd. All the bred females selling from the MHPH program are carrying service either to Action or TH 113W 11X Hi-Tech 17A, a high selling son of the now deceased Mr. Hereford, from the great Topp Hereford program.

Along with Jack, Lois and Kevin, the rest of the consignors having dug deep into their programs have allowed us to take females from the top of each program. The entire group consigning to Autumn Alliance is committed to offering only the best they have, to truly live up to the reputation of being the best.
