Isabella Abasolo Ceramics artist Isabella Abasolo has created her very own dream home in the idyllic village of Campos and finally feels fully settled after some eventful times on the island. When Isabella came to Mallorca, 22 years ago, it was clear to her from the very first moment that Mallorca is simply the place where she belongs. After some ups and downs, she has now found her final happiness in Campos.

Actually, it was supposed to be a new start for the whole family when Isabella emigrated to Mallorca with her ex-husband exactly 22 years ago. In the end, everything turned out quite differently than planned, and yet everything is now exactly as it should be.

From the opera house to baking bread

Daniel Kirch Professional opera singer Daniel Kirch and his partner René Kirch Düring, who runs a bar in Berlin, were visiting Mallorca every summer to spend their holiday. They enjoyed the white long beaches, the smell of the salty water and the calm atmosphere of the many villages that draw the coastline of the southeast of Mallorca. Little rustic villages, the picturesque Mediterranean landscape and the incredible Es Trenc beach with its turquoise water and white sandy beach – Daniel and René found their dream home in the south of Mallorca. ”Beautiful long summers, the wide-open, quiet nature of the Southeast – we fell in love with Mallorca years ago”

IDYLLIC HOME IN PORTOCOLOM

DANIEL KIRCH Six years ago, after spending another amazing holiday on the island with their friends, they felt the need for something more. At that time, Daniel was working in the Opera in Graz, Austria. – When we came back home after another summer holiday in Mallorca, we asked ourselves ”Why not make Mallorca our permanent home and just stay on this beautiful island?”. They went back to Mallorca for the viewing and instantly fell in love with the beautiful rustic finca, located in a quiet area and surrounded by nature. Portocolom The fishing village in the eastern part of Mallorca with its pastel coloured houses is one of the few natural harbours in Mallorca.
