Message from the CHAIRPERSON

It has been a privilege being the Chair of an organisation like the Butterfly Art Project for the past year It is rare to find organisations that have such a great impact in spaces where it is most needed the healing of trauma through art This has most certainly been an interesting year as the pioneer leader transitioned out of her role to pursue her own journey of growth and renewal and a new leader was appointed

Having to manage this transitioning process in a way that ensured the continued growth of BAP was the primary concern of both the Board and the staff and I am pleased to say that the organisation remains strong and focused as it enters its next phase of consolidation and growth.

With a soon to be expanded Board and a strong management team BAP will continue to grow and flourish whilst remaining true to the vision and passion of the Founding Director, Angela Katschke. The present management team is passionate about this work and have a clear strategic plan that will build on the work of the pioneer leader and take the organisation to new heights.

On behalf of the Board and the many beneficiaries of BAP we want to thank the Donors and partners that make our work possible as well. We also want to express our gratitude to all the people who work tirelessly to make a difference in children’s lives
