Butler University Doctor of Medical Science Bridge Program A Program Built for You The Butler DMS Bridge program is designed for PAs, whether they are just starting out or experienced, who want to expand their clinical knowledge, develop research skills, and step into a leadership role at a pace that fits where they are. Build on Your Clinical Experience The Butler DMS Bridge program allows PAs to earn a DMS by incorporating 36-credit hours of supervised clinical experience courses. Coursework you’ve already done, whether you’re applying it right out of school or years into practice.
For New Grads, It’s Not Too Soon Rather than waiting, you can spend that time getting a head start on your DMS coursework. You can begin your foundational courses before credentialing is even complete, building skills and leadership practices that make you a more confident PA from day one.
Experienced PAs: Flexibility to Advance Your Career With the flexible pathway options, you can pursue your DMS one or two courses at a time alongside your current role, building toward the Capstone project on a timeline that fits your schedule. The class schedules and timing are meant to work with your busy schedule, with most work being done asynchronously.
