Absentee Bidding Guidelines and Financial Authorization
To place an absentee bid on any of our live auction items, please complete the attached form and email it to hhobbs@butlercc.edu by the 6th of March, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
All bids must be secured with a credit card prior to the auction. You will receive a reply to your absentee bid email with instructions for providing your credit card information.
We will assign a proxy to represent your bid in the auction. If the bidding stops below your highest bid amount, you will get the item for the lower price. If the bidding exceeds your maximum, the proxy will stop bidding. Your bidding information will be kept confidential. We will inform you on or before March 9th, 2025, if you were the highest bidder of the auction item and the final price that was charged to your credit card. You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
If you are the winning bidder, we encourage you to promptly enjoy your auction purchases. Butler Community College and its Foundation are not responsible to replace or refund gift cards, certificates or items that are misplaced or not usable due to a business closing or other circumstance. Bidder(s) release Butler Foundation from any and all liability for damages resulting from purchased items.
