Our teams at The COMO 411 and COMO Magazine have spent the last several months creating this special edition for our community to celebrate the joy of the holiday season and the incredible small businesses that make our community shine. Each item featured in this guide has been handpicked as one of AC’s Favorite Things — unique, local finds that represent the creativity, heart, and entrepreneurial spirit of Columbia and mid-Missouri.
As we all know, the holidays aren’t just about receiving — they’re also about giving. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight the Central Missouri Community Foundation and their annual CoMo Gives campaign, which supports more than 170 local nonprofits every December. Giving back is at the heart of who we are, and it’s what makes this community so special.

Founded in 2010, the Community Foundation of Central Missouri strengthens a 10 county region by connecting donors with community needs, managing charitable funds, and supporting nonprofits.
