The main goal is to integrate health and life science solutions with ICT expertise for the benefit of all citizens.

We are located in Oulu in Northern Finland. OuluHealth operates in Kontinkangas, a health campus close to the center of the city of Oulu.

ECOSYSTEM STAKEHOLDERS
Oulu University Hospital (OYS) Oulu University Hospital (OYS), one of the five university hospitals in Finland, provides high-quality healthcare services to the entire northern Finland. This hospital utilises cuttingedge equipment in all specialised branches of medicine and employs several thousand highly trained professionals. OYS is also the first hospital to test the 5G-technology. The hospital has been undergoing total modernisation as a part of the Future Hospital 2030 programme. www.ppshp.fi
Biobank Borealis of Northern Finland The Borealis Biobank was established in 2015 by Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District, the University of Oulu, NordLab and the hospital/healthcare districts of Lapland, Länsi-Pohja, Central Ostrobothnia and Kainuu. University of Oulu This university employs about 2700 personnel and provides world - class education for approximately 15 400 students, who can choose between numerous

Center for Health and Technology (CHT) The Center for Health and Technology (CHT) is an innovation and knowledge platform managing research, development and innovation (RDI) activities at OuluHealth innovation ecosystem. CHT is dedicated to improve research and innovation impact in the digital health arena and developing digital competences in order to improve preventive, predictive and personalized health care. www.oulu.fi/cht
Biocenter Oulu (BCO) A multidisciplinary umbrella organisation within the biosciences and health research focus area of the University of Oulu, BCO provides dedicated, open access research and innovation infrastructure as well as special scientific expertise in microscopic imaging, drug testing and diagnostics. www.oulu.fi/biocenter/
Medical Research Center Oulu (MRC) A strategic research organisation of the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District and the University of Oulu, MRC offers a multidisciplinary research environment for clinical, translational and health care socioeconomic research. PROJECTS Future Hospital 2030 The main idea of this project is to modernise Oulu University Hospital (OYS) in such a way that it it becomes the smartest hospital in the world, utilising the most advanced technologies and providing personalised and effective healthcare services. Acute Care in Virtual Hospital With the Virtual Hospital 2.0 project, Oulu is coordinating the development of e-health services for emergency department customers in order to provide them with reliable information and guidelines for sudden medical problems quickly and in a simple mobile-readable form.
eHealth research in Virtual Hospital This project refers to a national network of researchers who work in the eHealth domain and focus on the new digital health services provided by Virtual Hospital 2.0. The eHealth researcher network shares results, best practices and facilitates collaboration in research.
Health Technology Assesment (HTA) The objectives of the national HTA coordination unit (FinCCHTA) are to cooperate with international HTA bodies, develop HTA methodological training and strengthen its related research.
DigiHealth Knowledge Hub (DigiHealth Hub) DigiHealth Hub initiative reinforces the digital transformation of health and well-being. It is speeding up the uptake and exploitation of emerging technologies (AI, Deep learning, big data analytics, 5G) while rethinking

Meaningful Integration of Data, Analytics and Services (MIDAS) This project focuses on developing a pioneering digital platform for healthcare policy makers. Medical and dentistry digital learning The University of Oulu coordinates the medical and dentistry digital learning (MEDigi) development project. The main aim is to support the creation of digital learning environments in the fields of medicine and dentistry.
6Aika: Hippa - Wellbeing and a better service housing through digitalization The aim of the project is to develop user-centred product and service design in enterprises in 6Aika cities in order to promote smart supported and service housing. The project strengthens the well-being of residents in service housing by promoting their participation, by utilizing smart solutions that meet their needs.
