What is Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation? The dedicated staff at Hamilton Health Sciences provide the best evidence-based, quality care possible, serving a population of more than 2.3 million people throughout south-central Ontario. Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation’s role focuses on enhancing patient care by raising funds to enable equipment purchases and support research, education and redevelopment.

What Makes Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Special? Many specialized regional clinical services are available only at Hamilton Health Sciences. While operating costs are funded by the government, equipment costs are not. As a result, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is responsible for securing donor support to ensure that the specialized equipment essential to diagnose, treat, and care for patients is available.

Why is Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Important to You? A healthier community means a stronger community. One day, you may find yourself or a loved one in need of specialized care at Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, McMaster Children’s Hospital, McMaster University Medical Centre, St. Peter’s Hospital, or any of their associated programs. Supporting Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is investing in the health care needs of your family, friends and neighbours.

“ Big Dreamer” Sophie Visca is a daughter, sister and friend. At just sixteen years young, she has fought more battles than any young individual should have too in their life. As many girls her age, she has a love for dancing. However, due to her current battle with Stage 3 Cancer she can no longer do what she loves—competive dance. But with all of these struggles she takes everyday with courage and grace. Her goal right now is to help other cancer patients who cannot afford the treatments they need.

We want to recognize her efforts. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Gerry Visca at gerry@redchairbranding.com.

Inside each one of us lives a BIG DREAMER waiting to emerge and stand tall on the roof top shouting with inspired enthusiasm: I am here now ready to embrace my one precious life."
