Over the past 11 years, his company EnviroShred Inc. has become the largest independentlyowned shredding company in Canada, offering clients the peace of mind knowing their confidential papers are being disposed of securely, correctly and in an environmentally-responsible way.

The process is simple for clients. They can schedule their visit frequency according to their needs or book a purge appointment for a one-time shred. Regular clients use the shredding bins provided and clients can even watch their materials being shredded thanks to closed-circuit video monitoring in the trucks. Each truck can shred between 5,000 and 9,000 pounds of paper per hour. With a customer base of around 3,000 clients serviced by branches in Calgary, Edmonton and Medicine Hat and 7,000 workplace shredding bins it equates to a lot of paper. EnviroShred conducts nearly 45,000 annual visits to clients ranging from small one-person operations to large corporations and recycles all shredded material – more than 3,300 metric tons of paper per year.
