The Chamber Vesta Award

Tonight, we are proud to present our volunteers with the Vesta Award. Vesta, a Roman goddess, symbolized the prosperity of home and community. We chose her name for this award because our volunteers play a vital role in the Chamber’s success and in the growth of the communities we serve. Those who step into leadership positions help guide the Chamber, set priorities, and move our mission forward. This evening, we thank our Chamber volunteers with a simple gift of a star.

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star honor goes to someone who went above and beyond for the Chamber, whether through committee work, bringing in new members, marketing support, or other contributions. We received many nominations and will reveal this year’s Rising Star later tonight!

Retiring Chamber Board Chair

Paul Radeke, Creative Planning

Stronger Together Paul Radeke with Creative Planning provided practical and collaborative leadership in his role as chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. His term ended on August 31, 2026. “My favorite part of serving as Board Chair was the opportunity to witness how passionate members, Chamber staff and volunteers are and the time they put in,” Radeke said. One highlight was participating in the Chamber’s Washington, D.C. trip, where he saw strong support for the region from the U.S. Chamber and Minnesota’s elected leaders. “It was encouraging to see leaders from both sides of the aisle engaged in meaningful conversations and advocating for the continued success of our region.” During his tenure, the Chamber launched new initiatives, created additional opportunities for large employers to engage, streamlined accounting practices and strengthened financial reporting to the Board. The organization also navigated staff changes that ultimately strengthened the team. “I am most proud that we emerged stronger as an organization,” Radeke said. “Change and growth are not always easy, but our Board and staff remained focused on the mission and the members we serve.” Looking ahead, Radeke sees an opportunity for the Chamber to continue bringing together businesses, educators, nonprofits and government leaders. With more than half of the region’s state legislative delegation expected to be new in the coming year, he is particularly excited about the Chamber’s role in building relationships with emerging leaders.
