PROJECT SEARCH is a supported internship programme for young adults aged 18-24 with an EHCP. It runs in collaboration with Calico, Burnley College and Lancashire County Council and helps support people with learning disabilities and/or autism into employment. The course runs for one academic year and during that time you access the support of a tutor and job coach. We offer three 10-12 week long work experiences alongside an employability curriculum which teaches interview skills, CV writing, workplace etiquette etc. We offer placements such as hospitality, admin, warehousing, retail, construction and IT.
